Read the article, but not sure there was any real embarrassment being levied on Maher. As a rule, I can't stand the smug SOB, but I give him credit for bringing a guy like Bannon on his show.
I like Bannon's take that witnesses, including Bolton, Biden and the whistle blowers, should have been called to expose the whole damn thing.

The rest of the article (and, FTR, at the end where it says “read more at the daily beast, there is no more to that article at the daily beast), doesn’t do credit to the whole show... which I now wish I’d seen, being no fan of either man.
I did notice a couple snipes at Trump in there (from the Daily Beast, not from Maher), but I agree Maher should have learned his lesson after being pantsed the first time he interviewed Bannon.

Secretly caught on camera, this ABC reporter demonstrates what's been abundantly clear for some time.
Can't stand the POTUS Won't report anything he does that's good Viewers are misinformed
... and it's coming from the top.
"Coincidentally" , Disney boss Iger abruptly steps down. 😏

Nothing new to many Americans, thus the quote "We are dinosaurs and we are dying".
To me the real thick of the story lies in the statement, "We do not understand the voters", he is speaking about the broadcast media and probably the MSM. That statement alone backs TRUMP and his FAKENEWS attacks on these guys and gals. Seriously, how can you cover an entire election cycle yet admit you do not understand those whom vote in the very subject and story you are covering?
I have stated many a time, one big "PRO" or thing that I like and will forever be grateful for in electing Trump is his pulling back the curtain on these despicable journalists that occupy newsrooms across this country and give the people biased propaganda.

... and anyone who doesn't expect that $1 million check in the mail is clearly a denier of science.

... and anyone who doesn't expect that $1 million check in the mail is clearly a denier of science. That would have been a much better strategy than wasting the money on ads. everyone gets a $1M check, and Bloomberg WOULD be the President. HOWEVER, MSNBC is a bit off: There are not 327 people in the U.S. giving $1M to each of the 330 MILLION people would be well beyond even Bloomberg’s capacity.

Hmmmm, but I am such a purist, based my entire like on principle, and yes that has helped and hurt me through out life. But for a 1 MILLION as the lady says, maybe I could be bought..... P.S. Dave, when quoting previous poster its best to keep there typing/comments and delete the attachments or links, takes up way less screen space!

Giving every American a million dollar check would cost $327 TRILLION. When it comes to giveaways, that's getting up into Bernie Sanders territory.

My first thought was oh how fast a liberal jumps at giving other peoples money away or telling them how they should have spent it and on what or whom....., and it's quite obvious when its a BILLIONAIRES money they can't help themselves in rational brain thought as all those ZEROS they can possibly offer to somebody takes precedent over sanity, unless they actually can't do math either, possible.

I understand. But from my perspective, there is a greater frustration (at least to me) to risk people not understanding all to which I am responding which includes, in most cases, the clip or tweet. that said, I do agree with your stand against reprinting entire articles. I just see this as different.

Channeling Edward Murrow is a good way to start the day. The 6 consecutive tweets are a worthy read.

Newly appointed CEO of Disney is yet another steward in denial..., yet those in the room are no longer.......
Disney Shareholders Call for Objective Reporting at ABC News
Bob Chapek, the brand-new CEO of entertainment giant Disney, was confronted over the documented anti-conservative bias at ABC News but refused to address the facts at this month’s annual shareholders meeting in Raleigh, North Carolina.
“After I asked my question, I was heartened by the applause in the room,” Danhof said of the meeting. “Americans of all political stripes care about objective news reporting. And it is clear that our broadcast networks have strayed far from that standard. The support for my question should signal to Disney’s bosses that they are wasting a prime business opportunity by only catering to a small subset of liberal viewers rather than all Americans.”
