When I was in my late 20's or early 30's I made the sage decision to not worry about the things I can't change or impact, and one of the major things that falls into that category is politics -- especially since I live in California. I engage in discussing the topic because it's a fun distraction, or sometimes to intentionally ruffle some feathers, but I really never sweat what is happening or what might happen. I honestly sometimes wish that the president, every senator, every house member, every governor, state legislator, mayor, city councilman, judge and Supreme Court justice were a left-wing Democrat. That way we could implement their policies, watch them crash and burn, hit the bottom of the crapper and bounce back up to rebuild. Much like many junkies, we might have to hit bottom before we can come to our senses.

This is by the same person who said "In a year of shocking news, this is absolutely terrifying"...well, I guess that clears things up.

Former Clinton WH spokesman Joe Lockhart is a pathetic hack and now has egg all over his face. C-SPAN's Steve Scully admitted today that his Twitter account was NOT, in fact, hacked and that he (another partisan hack posing as a neutral journalist) indeed sent the Tweet in question. Again, anyone with half a brain could have told you that last week.
Scully has now been suspended by C-SPAN, but should be fired and prosecuted for getting the FBI involved in a hoax.
Bahahaha! He is now the Jussie Smollett of Bubba Wallaces.
And then weasel blames conservatives for simply pointing out the simple fact that as a former intern to Joe Biden who also wrote a NeverTrump Op-Ed in 2016 he should never have been appointed to be a Presidential Debate moderator. Cry me a river, Steve!

Many on the left are responding to Twitters & Facebooks actions by saying "they are a private company, they can print or ban what they want". That claim is misleading because these same companies enjoy relief from any potential libel or slander lawsuits because they claim to be a neutral platform, a blank slate on which the public can post. The declare they are not legally responsible for what gets posted on their site, a claim that is valid only if they try not to control the content. As soon as they decide to be the arbiter of what is true or false, of what should be printed and what should be banned, they change from a neutral platform to a publisher. The benefits gained in moving that direction are tempered in that the content they approve for publishing can now be used as evidence against them in lawsuits.
So let Twitter & Facebook ban legitimate news, let them go down that path. Just be sure to ignore their screams of "Mea Culpa" when they get sued for millions of dollars over & over as they approve libelous or slanderous content as being fit to print. Given time, these companies will either wise up and return to a neutral format content or they will be nothing more than this past decades Myspace.

🤔 I suppose it can be observed that Blitzer went all Savannah Guthrie on Pelosi’s ass.

Don't often read about anyone on the left having an issue with censorship by social media platforms.

We have had a paradigm shift in the news vendors.
it USED to be we would use reports from the mainstream media as evidence one way or the other.
Today, the mainstream media doesn’t report anything they don’t like, for example everything about the reprobate Hunter Biden story.
it used to be we were implicitly not allowed to use third tier sources for evidence.
Today, those sources are pretty much the only ones carrying the stories, even though we still can’t be sure of the facts.
the non-news sources like Facebook and Twitter employ “fact checkers” but no one seems to be fact-checking the fact-checkers whose decisions are seemingly final.

I can usually think of some kind of rationale to explain almost anything, but this one has me stumped. Why would a grown man expose his wang to a group of work colleagues? That is just bizarre.

According to the WP it was accidental... Toobin, who could not immediately be reached for comment, told Vice.com in a statement that he “made an embarrassingly stupid mistake" during the Zoom call. “I believed I was not visible on Zoom," he said. “I thought no one on the Zoom call could see me. I thought I had muted the Zoom video.”www.washingtonpost.com/media/2020/10/19/jeffrey-toobin-zoom-new-yorker-exposed/
