I find this article, from NBC News interesting, but maybe not for reasons one might assume.

it reads like an excuse. I wonder why they would even run an article like this, if not for some perceived compulsion to explain their silence. It also proves they make crap up when they don’t know what they’re talking about.
Ill take just a couple snippets from the article to show you what I mean:
First, they acknowledge they haven’t seen the actual emails:
But that doesn’t stop them. Leading up to that admission, they make up stuff about what’s in the emails:
But, THEN, the article confesses a reporter from NBC News actually DID review the emails, IN person:
... these people are whack... IF their intent was to justify their silence (with a parallel intent to absolve the Biden’s), they failed.

The materials included copies of Hunter Biden identification documents that appeared to be genuine. But without taking possession of the copies, it was not possible to conduct the sort of forensic analysis that might help authenticate the emails and documents.
