kind of like a Chris Matthews moment with a tingling running up his leg. I bet VP has a lot of tingling going on too. That brings up something I’ve been pondering: let’s pretend, through some “brilliant” but unforeseen political strategy, Kamala “lay back” Harris becomes President. it is reasonably foreseeable that she would select a misanthropic octogenarian female to be her VP... let’s say Nancy Pelosi, who would then become the president of the Senate. at that point, I would seriously consider retiring to some other country.

Continue it further, if something happens to K.H., the evil one will be President.

The once conservative but now leftist shitrag O.C. Register has a subheadline this morning that reads "Harris Shatters Barriers As Vice President". WTF is that? What barriers did she shatter? There were no barriers to a black woman becoming vice president. Just because something has never happened doesn't been there were barriers preventing it. If I suddenly get a date with Charlize Theron, it doesn't mean I've shattered a barrier that never existed.

Might be a barrier to you dating Theron, but you’re right about the sensationalized headline.

CNN's take on election fraud and Trump focuses on Trumps lies and baseless election claims, when it's actually election strategy. They continue to turn a blind eye to election improprieties. Trump loses his impeachment team amid unfaltering loyalty from the GOP
Former President Donald Trump's lies and his insistence that the November election was rigged against him may have turned out to be a bridge too far for the attorneys who were slated to defend him in his upcoming Senate impeachment trial in a little more than a week. But his party has largely stuck with him. After a brief flirtation with reason and sound judgment in the weeks following the January 6 siege at the Capitol, the Republican Party has decided to honor their deep and often blind allegiance to Trump, choosing to overlook his role in inciting the deadly insurrection rather than pay the price of crossing him and his base next year at the ballot box. The collapse of Trump's legal team amid a disagreement over legal strategy, which CNN first reported Saturday night, stood in stark contrast to the slow crawl of Republican elected leaders back into the former President's corner as the anger lawmakers feel about the insurrection fades and his potential power to help or destroy them in the 2022 elections becomes paramount. While the Republican Party continues to bend to Trump's whims, forgive his dangerous behavior, and quiver in the face of his election threats, the judiciary and the legal profession are adhering to a higher ethical standard -- and have largely refused to tolerate his efforts to ramrod the nation's democratic institutions and founding principles throughout his baseless election charade -- making the GOP's loyalty to Trump even more appalling. www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-loses-his-impeachment-team-amid-unfaltering-loyalty-from-the-gop/ar-BB1dfIlg?ocid=entnewsntp

She was married to this guy in Men of Honor, so it wouldn't even move the needle if you suddenly got a date with her. That said, I'd still give you a standing ovation.

Man, I used to think that guy was arguably one of the best actors in the world. Now he's just a caricature of his better work, and an unbearable, effing hypocrite to boot.

For the most part, the "magic" of Hollywood ended for me with the advent of social media, and giving actors a platform from which to pontificate their political positions. I don't mind the fact they have polar opposite opinions as mine, but the only reason I paid any attention to them was to be entertained. I find it hard now to be entertained by these people who condemn my point of view.

I think the magic died for me when the same Sean Penn who played Jeff Spicoli became the Sean Penn who played Harvey Milk.
And speaking of "Media Bias", has anyone else noticed that almost every commercial on broadcast television now has a biracial or same-sex couple? As if that's the new norm?

Yes, the wife keeps pointing that out to me, although I had already noticed it. They are force-feeding it to us so we'll get to think of it as being...the way things should be.
