Ive been seeing ads for a new series (maybe TBS?) called "Chad."
BACKGROUND: When CBS premiered Madame Secretary in late 2014, I perceived it as a not-so-subtle way of attempting to clean up Hillary's image as prelude to her presidential campaign. CBS, of course, denied those charges several times, in various media outlets, but the similarities between Secretary McCord and Secretary Clinton were stark, nonetheless.
in Chad, we have a not-quite androgynous Iranian female playing a Muslim (American) High School boy, struggling to fit in...
so Im wondering what (and how many) stereotypes TBS is trying to influence with this really badly produced (which I take from the commercials) sitcom...

Dave, two comments:
(1) Exactly what has Biden done to "handle" the coronavirus pandemic? The vaccines were already being produced and administered when he came into office, and the only thing that has changed is that the production volume has ramped up. He has done nothing to contribute to that.
(2) I'm convinced Biden doesn't really like Kamalatoe Harris, and giving her the lead in solving the border crisis is his not so subtle way of sending her on a suicide mission that he knows she can't handle.

If you have an upstairs bathtub full of water and it springs a leak, if you just sit on your thumbs and do nothing until the tub is empty, the crisis is over. Sure, you have a ton of water damage to your home, but the leak is over. |

Think, Dave, think. If you let the bathtub leak, you can call yourself inclusive and compassionate, while plugging the leak can be called racist or white supremacist. A soggy, ruined home is a small price to pay for being that woke.

I see after fake news jumped on the white supremacy angle after the Boulder Colorado shooting and were totally wrong they are waiting on this one.

Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, MDDad is wrong. Three or more deaths defines a "mass killing", and four or more people shot defines a "mass shooting".

And as usual, Vilepagan did a quick google search to pretend to know the answer. The fact is that many jursdictions, especially those in urban areas, have moved the threshold numbers up so that hundreds of gang shootings and killings aren't included in the total. I suppose including all those types of crimes commited by black and Hispanic gang members doesn't fit the woke narrative. |
