It will be interesting to note how many stations (network and cable) will do the Dems biddings and carry the Jan. 6th extravaganza live as the Dems try to push their agenda. Thursday night at 5:00.

After the attempted assassination of Justice Kavanaugh today, payback for the J6 committee will be easy, (after we take the House) with Senator Schumer (and others) under investigation for inciting violence, after his "whirlwind" threats on the SCOTUS steps targeting Kavanaugh and Gorsuch.

De Santis does have executive experience. He picks good people. He makes the right choices. Biden on the other hand...... doesn't.

This may not sit well if there are any Trump cultists here, but DeSantis is so much a better candidate than the Donald that it's ridiculous. Two and a half years out, I think nominating Trump is the only way the GOP can lose in 2024.

Billb, the issue is not whom you would vote for. The issue is that there are millions and millions of people who would vote for DeSantis but would rather eat a turd sandwich than vote for Trump. And it's hard to blame them, because Trump can't help but act like an insufferable ass. They will determine the 2024 election.

I dont think there is a cultist amongst us here, not even sure what that actually means, or are you suggesting anyone whom supports Trump or would support Trump is a "cultist"? And even at that with the country is absolute tatters under Biden, how many if they could snap their finger and have Trump back in office today would do so..., I think you would hear a chorus. Trump is an a**, yes at times, but if mean tweets trump policies that make and MADE our lives better, then you are willing to suffer much more than I. Ive been an ardent supporter of DeSantis early on, I think he would make the best President not only on policy and his temperament better suited for the job and the American people. My biggest fear is that the GOP won't or cant coalesce behind ONE candidate early on. A Trump vs DeSantis war of words over a primary year would be about the only thing to take away the Jimmie opportunity that should be 2024. Joe Biden will be defenseless punching bag on his record and his feeble stuttering mindless brain matter will in no way be able to defend himself or his position as President past, present or future. |

I have a hard time believing record will matter one bit. All GOP is being portrayed as "Trumpian" in the media, and even if you don't believe 2,000 mules, it seems to be enough to have most people vote blue.

The Left absolutely hates Trump, and the biased media supports this at every turn. But if Trump is out of the picture, the media and the Left will turn on DeSantis and portray him as a White Supremist, racist, etc....Who ever our candidate is, it has to be someone strong who can stand up to everything which will be thrown at them. From tax returns, rumors of affairs, racism, homophobism, etc. from all of the usual outlets.
