Would you rather starve or lose everything you have and then starve? In Sri Lanka and Ghana, they are starving. In China their life savings may be gone. In Europe they must kill most of their livestock. No burgers for you....

We have seen oil over $100.00 a barrel many times but never gas prices like this. Why?

I agree Tarmac, I remember oil over $100 a barrel many times. Light Sweet and Brent. Why are gas prices so high now?

FEDX down over 20% today on news that China and Europe have almost nothing to ship. FedX planes are flying half full. People in Europe are spending almost half their income on energy and winter is still 3 months away. China still in lock down after two years and thousands of cargo ships are anchored in the South China Sea. China never tells the truth.

I have a customer who is Chinese and imports from his father's factory in China. They sell to Home Depot and Walmart, among others. He said that people who spoke to him said that Walmart put a hold on their import vendors until they can reassess n February.
I don't know what is going to happen. I was at an imported a week ago, they had just moved, so it is hard for me to tell, but I think their inventory is better than a year ago.
In your video Tarmac, they mention that higher energy and food prices are crimping other spending. That is common sense.
