How long has it been? Two months? Since Biden was sitting in the White House movie theater complaining about the shrinkflation of his ice cream buckets. Talk about losing touch. He is a walking disaster for the American people.

Biden has always been one of those politicos with their finger up in the air to gauge the political correctness wind direction. Its the reason the world is in a whole heap of crap right now.

Jimmy was also a good person, family man and patriot. His policies failed him and the country but there was little if any malcontent. Today, we have people with purpose, trying to bring down these United States.

Janet Yellen the federal reserve chair person said last year we were going to see two or maybe three interest rate cuts in 2024. So far we have had zero cuts and talk is the Fed could increases rates next month.
DOW down 300 points today.

Usually they (theoretically) raise rates to cool an over heated economy. The economy has not been good since the pandemic, unless you consider inflation a plus for the economy. Higher rates don't help the public, but the economy is so screwed up, I don't know what can help, except having someone in the White House that can fix things, or at least do his job.

I kinda see it like this, how much pain do you/we want to endure? Cut/Stop the spending, printing, fiat currency. It will hurt. (Some groups more than others). Or stick w/ the same recklessness we currently run by (Washington). That will end in a more painful manner.

I agree, the choice is pretty clear. Either cut spending until it equals tax revenue, or face the greatest global economic collapse in history when we can no longer meet the interest payments on $40 or $50 or $60 trillion in national debt. The first option is very painful, but the second is suicidal.
