Before the Senate Judiciary Cte today, AG Bill Barr must have been channeling Boz Scaggs in declaring his verdict on the Trump-Russia Collusion Hoax: It's Over (psst...someone inform TOB)
This is also a great Heartbreak Hotel tune. I was just a kid when this was popular but I remember it well.

I had that Boz Scaggs "album" in 8 track tape form, played it like crazy in my high school car.

Update on foreign collusion in the 2016 Presidential campaign:
Trump and his campaign never conspired with Russia, but apparently the Democrats were colluding with Ukraine.

Senator Chuck Grassley with an epic mic drop on the media and the Democrats (but I repeat myself).

Not only was Trump-Russian Collusion a hoax, it was also a crime--and Hillary is at the center of it.

If you want a piece of journalism that both (1) debunks the Trump-Russia collusion fantasy, while (2) being immune from the charge of right-wing bias, this recent article in The Nation (essentially the National Review of the Left) does the job. Heck, even the guys at TOB might have to accept its harsh verdict on the total failure of the media on this story.

It's getting HOT in the kitchen! Looks like the knives are being sharpened and pointed at Comey.....
Daily Mail UK:
"Obama’s intelligence chiefs Brennan and Clapper claim they told James Comey NOT to use the golden showers dossier to get eavesdropping warrant on Trump campaign aide
High-level former aides are squaring off on who pushed to include the unverified dossier in a surveillance warrant application
Emails refer to the dossier as 'crown material'
Former CIA official says former CIA Director John Brennan and former NSA chief James Clapper argued against
Official said former FBI Director James Comey pushed for it"

A desperate Beto still pushing Russian collusion. Look for this to be another front in the impeachment angle, all based on a facetious comment made by Trump during the 2016 campaign. But it won't work since the only candidate who "colluded" with anything Russian was Hillary via her fake Christopher Steele Dossier which was used as a pretext to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on Trump and his people. That can never be forgotten.

Let the Democrats promote impeachment on this, and see where it gets them. I thought it was over emoluments...or is it emollients?

Interesting article by Julie Kelly at American Greatness, speculating whether the Russians themselves were a party to the Trump-Russia Collusion Hoax. Considering how chummy they were with the Obama administration, it isn't out of the realm of possibility.

A few general observations about how this whole thing is unfolding. 1) The investigation into collusion started during the campaign it was not about the Steele Dossier. That was only a part of what was being reviewed, but it was not the primary reason. Trump disputes that of course and has ordered a new investigation into what started the investigation. Oh bother. 2) Trump doesn't know the law. He routinely makes statements that he has to walk back once he learns of the possible implications. Trump himself never intended to collude with anyone. He didn't think he needed to. After all, the people all love him dontcha know. 3) Trump was so angry that the investigation was launched and that it was looking at him, he tried to stop it. That's what the report stated and that is what Mueller came out recently and stated. That is obstruction, but because Trump doesn't know the law, he didn't know he was obstructing. Now he's calling everyone that testified as to what he wanted done a liar. Under oath to the special counsel. Really?
My personal conclusion is that there were some really bad judgments made by Trump supporters and family members during the campaign. It's the culture Trump himself cultivates. Win at any (almost) cost. Trump himself was ignorant or naive or both. He genuinely didn't know what was going on around him. He was too busy soaking up the love and admiration of his followers to even care. When Trump is accused of any wrongdoing, he reacts poorly, becoming angry and lashing out uncontrollably. Not unlike what we've seen of him as a TV personality or even during his rally's. He knew he didn't do anything wrong and he was very angry he was being accused of doing anything wrong and saw the whole thing as the witch hunt he said it was. However, unlike a witch hunt, many people were brought to justice for the very wrong things they did and/or were doing. Convictions. Admissions of guilt. Serious crimes (albeit unrelated to collusion).
What we are left now is nothing short of a colossal mess. The public no longer knows who to trust. The government, the press, the president, congress, the FBI ... and more have all been dragged through the mud so often now that we are left to our own devices to pick through the scrap heap. We (as a society) are notoriously bad at that. We prefer to believe that which affirms our existing beliefs rather than allow them to be challenged. When we perceive no credible source to dispute our current beliefs, we become further entrenched.
This isn't getting any better folks.
