BTW, speaking of TOB, why is the lettering in Red orange? Same as Prof Fate. We must be on double secret probation as I am sure vilepagan checks this site to report back to JQP. Right Vile?  Years ago, I joined another board that was created by? ? Damn it, I forget! He was the libertarian and crayegg snuck on the and reported on me. JPQ actually banned me for 30 days over something I said on that other site. crayegg reminds me of Whimpy, the hamburger eating Character on Popeye. LOL TLib! That's his name. |

Most anyone who was a member of this site from 30 days ago backwards, was branded an orange snowflake, and had certain "privileges" removed. Didn't matter if you were conservative, independent, or liberal. If you called BS on the punitive branding of others, you were branded as well. I think that's called being a sympathizer or a collaborator, so that makes it all OK. |

There has not been a single post on TOB for 14 hours and 36 minutes. That may partly be due to the fact that it's a Sunday, but it's more likely because none of us have ventured over there and pissed on the ant hill.
When Credo was banned over there in mid January, I contacted six or seven of you to organize a 30-day boycott of that forum beginning Jan. 19. We held firm, and the effects were fairly immediate. Bick formed this site, and TOB suffered a major decline in posts and viewership. Now perhaps it's time to test our resolve. It seems clear that they struggle to survive without our participation, rare as it is. Can we all hold out from posting over there until TOB is a cold, dead corpse? Perhaps another 30-day boycott starting today?

Here is an add-on to that suggestion. Go 30 days with no posts, then on the 31st, everyone make at least 5 posts in one day. Follow it up with another 30 day moratorium.
Nothing like participating in an orgy before & after a dry spell to make one realize how much sex they aren't getting. It would send a message to JQP that although he owns the site, like all legitimate business's, the power lies with the customers.

MDD - after my post on another thread here this will seem like I'm talking out of both sides of my mouth. I don't share a desire to put them "out of business" so to speak. If nothing else, it's bad karma - regardless of whether or not I can legitimately justify it. I outlined why I've made a personal choice not to participate there.
Get this for irony - less than a year ago, I was working behind the scenes to help drive traffic TO his site.

I would like for some of those HS forum posters to come here of course, but how do we expand on that side of the ball... (pun intended!) As I mentioned before tied to a politic forum it may not be able to fully expand on our HS chit chat and talk here. MDDad, i have taught the same..... on any given day we each log in and just take over all banter, post after post after post.... even funnier only reply to each other...! |

If you are active on any social media platform, you have friends or followers who you know to be non-liberal. Give them the link in an IM and invite them to join. thats more or less how I found this place ... I keep regular contact with Duke on one such platform... and he IM’d me the URL. |

We started as a primarily political board, but like you, most of us like sports as well. I changed the name of the forum, but am having some trouble figuring out how to change the name of the URL. |
