I've wondered how big a deal it would be to get rid of that "non-Lib" title, Bick.
It does sound a little exclusive, to put it mildly, and I wonder if it eventually might limit participation. It's better to have at least some people who do disagree with you and from whom you might learn something, or at least who will prompt you to be more precise in your own thinking.
It's just a matter of monitoring the content and showing some people the door when they cannot remain civil.
Of course, I can say that since I'm not the one who will be monitoring the board.............................Luca

Last I looked, I couldn't change the URL without starting all over, but I was able the name of the board. I might be missing something...any ideas out there?

How can we drive more traffic here? I would like for some of those HS forum posters to come here of course, but how do we expand on that side of the ball... (pun intended!) As I mentioned before tied to a politic forum it may not be able to fully expand on our HS chit chat and talk here. I think the best way is to invite people you know who would be a fit here. If it's a fit for them, they'll weigh in. There's not a whole lot to talk about on the HS side right now, unless you want to talk about some of the development you've seen in some of the players, or maybe do a So Cal top 25 poll to help Sondheimer out. I saw that SK80 posted the link on a site that has Sea1 who, I believe is Cruiser from TOB. I tweeted the link to Ramon from TOB, who, by the way is recovering from multiple bypass surgery, and invited him to come over and say hi to some of his old friends. Too bad I know how to reach more Monarchs than Friars. \_  _/ |

Not sure have a name for you yet but I always had hoped somewhere one could google and find a real destination for HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS. With so much focus now on high school sport and especially HSF and where it has elevated nationally a google search of "high school football" or "Orange County High School Football" or even "Mater Dei Football" trafficking people us would be awesome, the premiere hfs forum! I think we have a good enough core here already to drive it. Presently, what started at other boards or TOB as HSF chat has morphed into a political driven board. In a way, politics being more of a topic we could really drive traffic on that alone. Is that what we want? Just a question when thinking about a name or url. |
