Well Dave, you might be getting a change over there in the windy city. It won't matter... That cesspool will only replace her with the next reprobate in line. the movement in IL to separate the state into two states (roughly setting Cook County adrift on its own) gathers steam, though. |

Obviously because most of America is HOMOPHOBIC, MISOGYNIST & RACIST, cities like Chicago, San Francisco, Minneapolis and Baltimore are unfairly treated and not shown enough respect for how they operate. Shame on you all.

As a resident of Illinois-that-is-not-Chicago, I affirm that taxes AND "...decades of destructive government policies" are exactly what has killed the state. I make the "-is-not-Chicago" distinction because despite Chicago being a very small part, geographically, all decisions are made for and from Chicago or Cook County. The governor doesn't even live in the Governor's mansion in Springfield: His office and home are in Chicago (well, one of his homes: He has several) and he is tight with that haggard old mayor, Lori Lightfoot. |

Dave, I'm willing to concede that Chicago is worse than Los Angeles, if you're willing to concede that California is worse than Illinois.
I will also concede that you have us beat in one area: The L.A. mayor looks like a human being, while the Chicago mayor looks like Beetlejuice.
