O.K., you guys might be the worst run state, but we still claim the worst-run city, despite this ranking showing Oakland as worse (although, I do consider Detroit as the absolutely worst run city). Our senior Senator from Illinois always makes me proud:  |

I've always felt that voters in a democracy deserve whatever government they vote into power. I hope the ignorant citizens of Chicago aren't surprised by the increased misery that will be coming their way.

Agree, however they keep pulling this off, every election 51-49 after the votes are mostly cast, a deluge of leftist ballots appear....., either way, what happens in these big cities is actually running the country, however RED Illinois may vote outside Chicago... it wont matter.  |

This outbreak just proves what biologists and behaviorists have known for a long time. If you take any animal out of its social structure and place it in the wild with no structure, no rules and no restrictions, it eventually becomes feral. I'm sure we've all lived in neighborhoods with feral cats that were probably once domesticated. This is no different.

Like Silky Sullivan coming around the far turn, San Francisco may end up catching Chicago in the final stretch. This is catastrophic financially for a cities viability. California and its big cities are BRANDED as no go zones.
Add this too the numerous big name retailers that have closed shop.
