I'm sorry but that doesn't make much of a discussion. I do understand why you guys are making as much hay out of this as you can but it must bother the shit out of you that no one is disagreeing with you. Perhaps your confusion stems from the fact that you aren't used to someone actually paying the consequences for their inappropriate behavior with women...after all, you gave your guy a total pass for even more egregious behavior. After all, many of them have college degrees in worthless, esoteric majors with no professional value. However, I also feel many far-left progressives lack any common-sense, down-to-earth intelligence or policy ideas. When it comes to pragmatic, rational policy, as opposed to naive, pie-in-the-sky John Lennon baloney, the only difference between many far-left progressives and a bag of shit is the bag. |

With usual reservation, I hit TOB on fridays for the weeks HSF banter, that was the only reason i was ever there, that said, could not help myself to check in on the excuses for Afghanistan thread, or the Biden is Brilliant thread. There were not any, not even one mention of the KAOS going on overseas. Just like the Cuomo story, liberals and Democrats are so good at sweeping th ebad news under the political carpets....

I will state the obvious for you since you seem to need to hear it...we of TOB are very sorry for the anguish experienced in Afghanistan this past week, but there's nothing special about it now that Biden's in office. The war isn't over yet. People are still dying. It won't stop until we are gone from there. Soon. You are much more interested in the alleged political side of this story than I am. As I've said repeatedly, there's plenty of blame to go around, so I see little reason to dwell on the details of who was responsible for this or that. Carry on. |

A few times I year I entertainment myself by visiting the old board of myopics..., I endured many a chuckle at posts regarding the LA Times and Washington Post deciding to NOT endorse a presidential candidate this election 2024. With dumbfound outrage not one could muster maybe Harris isn't it, or that we can never stand for a newspaper that takes at a minimum a central stance. Neither of these papers endorsed Trump mind you, they simply no voted as a corporate entity. The editorial boards were so offended some quit. (Which is a very good thing, like Twitter, maybe we will get more diverse opinion and freedom to think, speak, write w their replacements). But no, TOB sees all this as bad, a dark day for their propaganda hold on the media. The lack of an open mind is beyond them, the side that clamors for diversity, oh the irony! VP, Wabash and JQP all discuss cancelling their subscriptions and maybe subscribing to "The Atlantic", an even nuttier journalistic media rag! |
