We keep hearing “No one is above the law”.
That statement sadly just isn’t true.
Does anyone here think that any of the players such as:
Comey, Macabe, Struck, Hillary, Orr, Page, Obama etc etc etc will ever be prosecuted? What ever happened to Lois Lerner and Wasserman Schultz? Why is Orr still working for the FBI??
Why aren’t we going after them??? Any of them?
The ruling class with few exceptions seems too have total immunity to prosecution.
Even among Republicans all we ever hear is “Investigate, Investigate, Investigate”. Why isn’t Barr going after some of these clowns that have clearly committed crimes?
Thoughts anyone....

Since Barr is still comparatively new, and he only just finished “testifying” in front of that faux congressional “investigation”, I’m willing to give him some time.
Here in IL, the Justice Dept is going after friends and former associates of our raunchy, corrupt speaker of our house, Michael Madigan. So it’s not like they’re not doing anything...
But I agree with you, that some of these much more highly visible criminals must be taken down at some point.

Their is plenty of evidence to indict many of them now but yet nothing. If Trump were to lose it would all go away.

I think it's more a function of the inability to build and prove a case that would lead to a conviction.
Defense attorneys are at a huge advantage in our legal system when it comes to criminal justice. The elite have access to the very best attys, and would likely run circles around gov't prosecutors.

I used to think that the theories about the Clintons were just political fodder. Then Bengazi & her private server information came to light, she got off unscathed and I finally took notice. Now it takes two "attempted suicides" to finally silence Jeffery Epstein & protect Bill from potential criminal testimony, and I am all-in. The Clintons are no different than a Mafia crime family.
It makes me wonder if the meeting on the Tarmac with Loretta Lynch was not one where a deal was offered, but one where a threat was made. Lynch said they talked about their grandchildren, I can totally imagine Bill saying something like "I hear you have a grandchild, it would be a shame if something terrible happened to him". If I am Loretta Lynch, I probably cave in to a threat from the Clintons, there is nothing to be gained in fighting it.
What is interesting is how brazen they have gotten over the past few years. Meeting with Lynch on the tarmac, having Epstein killed while the world is paying attention to his trial. They seem to think people will continue to let them get away with it, no matter what they do.

I think it's more a function of the inability to build and prove a case that would lead to a conviction. I think it's more a function of almost all politicians (except maybe Trump) eventually belonging to the same good-ole-boys country club. Most people have skeletons in their closet, and they aren't about to go after a colleague (i.e. fellow lodge member) when they know what goes around can come around. A wink and a nod go a long way towards smoothing things over and remaining in power.

The Clintons are no different than a Mafia crime family. I guess I disagree. Mafia crime families at least have their own perverse codes of honor and ethics.

I’m still undecided on this question of why (definitely all in, and have been for some time... since Vince Foster committed suicide by shooting himself in the back of the head... on the criminal enterprise that is the Clintons).
I want to believe something is coming and commuting Blagojevich’s sentence might be (I’m hoping again) a first step in uncovering some skeletons.
For those not as close to Illinois politics, Rod Blagojevich, a former governor of IL, was sentenced to 14 years in Federal Prison for corruption. He got caught trying to sell the Senate seat Emperor Obama vacated when he became president. To date, he has served only 8 and has complained for years that the sentence is too harsh and his daughters are having to grow up without him. SO, when (last week) Trump announced he was “considering commuting “Blago’s” sentence, I assumed Trumos mins was already made up AND THAT some kind of deal must have been made for Trump to commute the sentence of a democrat darling like that.

Is Hillary's case in question? There is tons of evidence to prove her case. Same with Comey as he admitted it. Alan Dershowitz feels that "Political Crimes" are a special case and just don't count as crimes.

On Hillary's email, Comey invented a micron sized gap between gross negligence and extreme carelessness that was enough to stave off an indictment.
All the other stuff doesn't seem to have the legs I was talking about.

I've been following all the Spygate details for some time now, and it is very frustrating to see day after day that no one has paid a serious price for real crimes against the nation. Even those fired (Comey. McCabe, etc.) are running around in good standing with the D.C. elite, with book deals and TV appearances. I am putting my faith in Bill Barr to get the job done, but it's got to be done correctly and strategically. The American public cannot tolerate this blatant two-tiered system of justice for much longer.

Credo, nothing will get done, and nobody will be punished, because they all belong to the same fraternity. The joke's on us.
