I feel reluctant to post this because I really appreciate what these guys do for high school sports here in Orange County. I think they write good articles and do great coverage of our high school athletes and games. In all fairness they probably root for the under-dogs to be balanced as journalists and the kids playing sport from all divisions and leagues, yet over the past two weeks your truly has gone 15-0 two weeks in a row. These two are coming in at .500 this past week!
I think its MDDA whom has stated that most of us here know more about high school football than the guys at OCR and LAT's. I use to think you could only know so much about so many teams, but ya we do know quite a bit evidently! Steve Fryer and Dan Albano make their predictions for this week’s top high school football games.

Season record: 54-16 50-20 Issue with Fryer and Albano, they don't watch or evaluate games outside the ones they cover, they don't watch replays or other games to get the sense that most fans do, as case in point with your record. Either they don't have time, or don't care too, Albano spend a lot of time with aquatic sports so much that he probably has no time to watch game replays. They're general sports reporters - not 247.com which I get, but it would be nice if they did. Its apparent they seem to base a lot off their "one game" they see. And it shows at times they need to watch more games beyond the one they cover. |

Going undefeated, winning CIF are not easy achievements, eventually someone has your number. Apparently Bick, you believe (or hope?) are many teams that should have CDM's number? In fairness, you did start a congratulatory CDM thread on their accomplishments and program. And I understand they are crashing the Sunset two-way party between Edison and Los Al (your team). And I know you have called me a "homer", yet I do not want to go out and call you are a "hater" but what gives.....?  |
