No surprise that Republicans can't present a knock out blow to Pelosi, as once again they show they're spineless. What will they do on the Climate Change, pork filled monstrosity Build Back Better? If they cave here, and we lose the two Dems, our country has been fundamentally change by this Administration, despite them not having a mandate.
Scary times.

See, but they no longer care about a mandate. All they care about is having at least a 1-seat majority. A mandate would suggest they give a rat's patootie about what the Americans think or want; but, of course, they do not.

Yet 13 Republicans empowered Pelosi by voting for her phony infrastructure bill. Not saying I would have voted for it if I were in Congress, but I think I understand the vote by some of the Republicans who voted for this bill. 1). Giving the Dems an occasional victory, reduces the pressure to end the filibuster in the Senate, and, 2). While there is some bullshit pork in the bill, there are also some good infrastructure items in there also...some of which may help put people to work is the states they represent. Now the other pie in the sky, Green New Deal, evil, naive bill... Hell No! |

At 38% I was fairly sure it couldn't go any lower, at 37% I was almost certain it wouldn't get any lower, now at 36% my mind is blown. We are literally near a point in which TWO THIRDS of the nation do not approve of Joe Biden as President.

You lose a senate race to a truck driver who reportedly spent less than $200 on his campaign, and the next thing you contemplate is a run for governor? That pretty much says it all about the state of American politics.
