I've said this for some time, the Democrats will rue the day when the latino community as a whole starts to stand up politically with their strong conservative religious beliefs. The left has gone off the deep end with their identity politics, LBGT this and that, aggressive support of abortion. Not even sure that pandering to the undocumented/illegals flooding here really is something the Latino community already here wants, they have their work and are no longer supportive of more coming here to compete. The black community as well stands behind what I just stated. I always believed one day the pandering left would find defeat at those whom they have made paper promises.
I truly believe, looking at the economy, especially the job numbers, TRUMP has DELIVERED and it is showing in these numbers.

P.S. In your tweet link re" CA districts, in mine CS-48, MICHELLE STEELE is even in polling with HARLY ROUDA. I think this traditional conservative district can be returned to (R) come November.

For what it's worth, I don't know a single hispanic who is NOT a Trump supporter. The ones I know aren't looking for handouts, and are pretty much into taking care of their own families. |

Like most Americans, the motto come election time is VOTE YOUR POCKET BOOK. Not sure right now what the Democrats could offer to counter that? (Nothing)
Second, when I think of the Latino community as well as the Africa American, Church, God, are a driving factor in their political beliefs, I think we are seeing some of this as well as the Democrats have demonized the church and religion.
When you have a party like the Modern Day Democrats, their innate notions and concerns about LBGT and gender choice, Green New Deals and climate hysteria, Abortion, etc....., I just don't see these at the top of the Latino and Black priority lists... They say after each election, especially with the black vote, if Republicans could just peel away from the Democrats a very small percent, these elections would become theirs in a landslide.

For what it's worth, I don't know a single hispanic who is NOT a Trump supporter. The ones I know aren't looking for handouts, and are pretty much into taking care of their own families. I am not surprised by that. Back when the cities were revolting against sanctuary city nonsense, Los Alamitos was in the lead, and I recall many of those who spoke out against sanctuary cities, in city council meetings there, were, in fact, Hispanic. |

I take polls with a grain of salt and try to not put too much credence on any one of them, but here again we have what I say is a very significant trend in almost every poll in which I follow, there is something happening and it's either the Democrats just do not have the candidate to sway the public their way or Americans (like this poll suggests) are just finally coming around to Trump for his accomplishments and bettering their lives. A new poll finds that a wide majority of Americans are open to voting President Donald Trump in for a second term this November, with a significant increase from last year.
The poll, conducted by The Hill and HarrisX and released Thursday, found 62 percent of registered voters expressed openness to casting their ballot for Trump, compared with only 38 percent who said they wouldn’t vote for him.
The survey, which polled 1,001 registered voters between Feb. 14 and Feb. 15, with a margin of error of plus- or minus-3.1 percentage points, differed dramatically from a March 2019 poll on the matter from the same source.
