We really do need to get back to where we once belonged... old school liberals and old school conservatives providing the balance we are sorely lacking today.

The middle needs to push the fringe kooks off the map.

Well the dynamics and players have changed drastically since the last post here, like I've stated numerous times, 90 days in politics is eternity! 

With that, Rasmussen has come out boldly with polling showing the Kamala "Honeymoon" is winding down. So much so even CNBC's polling confirms the movement back to Trump, mind you, they sat on its release for 3 days likely due to the VP pick announcement.

So, sit back, relax and don't believe your lying eyes! 

How many times do we have to say it?

NATIONAL POLLS ARE LESS THAN MEANINGLESS.

First, one could say everything we post here is "meaningless" as well. There are many facets to polling, some actually quite interesting, there is actually a lot that goes into it w/ the assumption that the end justifies the means, that is in being CORRECT. I do agree, understand, that in an electoral college system "national" is of lesser meaning yet is not completely meaningless. National polling can, does and has had great meaning in down ticket results within each of the 50 states that makes up our Congress and Senate. To me that has vast meaning.

Second, I have always stated I personally look to polls for "trends" not specifics. One can get a good read over time over a read on any one day or a single recording piece of data. 

Third, if as you state over and over, if polls are meaningless why bother even reading through or clicking on the thread? (Outside of reminding us of your position on polling.) 

Lastly, I can attach "meaningless" to any polling if it is skewed by politics itself. Many are and I believe more so now than ever, especially this far out of an actual election. Again watch those polls shift to accuracy or at least attempt too so not to be an outlier and never be trusted again. 

In the end game, we can all agree the only poll that matters is your, my or ones vote. Thats the real true poll, or until recent times I thought that it was. 

Don't break it down by states.  MD said states don't matter, it is just the national poll.   <joke>    If RFK was the Dem candidate, they might have won.  But they don't like him because he is not part of their cabal.
