I dave let's talk, I have an island I can sell ya....... you'll be safe, you can lock yourself up, has a nice ocean view all around SF Bay.....! I have often thought that would make a splendid Dave Estate West. of course, it would require some upgrading and retrofitting. |

Interesting--but not surprising--data from this study. Democrats mistakenly believe Republicans are much more prejudiced and narrow-minded that the actual data indicates, further illustrating their own false sense of moral superiority and how out-of-touch they are with reality.

The obvious solution to this trend is to eliminate "woke" colleges. As they are currently constituted they are turning a whole generation into virtue-signaling liberal automatons (see formerly conservative Orange County flipping Blue in 2018).

A major reason that many of Orange County districts flipped from red to blue in 2018 was ballot harvesting. The Dems had hundreds of volunteers out collecting ballots for those who couldn't or wouldn't have gone to the polls on election day. It doesn't take much imagination to realize that these collectors influenced the voting decisions of those they collected from (if they didn't actually change the ballots themselves). The effect the ballot harvesting had was evident that when the polls closed, Republican candidates were leading, but days after counting harvested ballots, amazingly democratic candidates took the lead.
Now this year, the dems have had 11 days to drag every senior, homeless person or illegal alien into the "voting centers" to cast their ballots. In the past, when the voting was done in neighborhoods, those running the station knew their neighbors who came in to vote. Now you have folks in centralized voting centers who have no idea if the drunk saying his name is Bill Smith is actually that person or not or if he even lives in the area. I can see caravans of dems spending the last 11 days driving from voting station to voting station, claiming to be voters and casting ballots. Watch how blue all the votes end up in this primary.

Without any voter ID requirement, that has been going on for a long time. Getting illegals to vote has been their latest cheat along those lines. |

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Americans are generally positive in their evaluations of how each of nine leaders and institutions has handled the response to the coronavirus situation. Eight of the nine receive majority positive ratings -- led by U.S. hospitals, at 88% approval. Only the news media gets a more negative than positive review.
 These numbers have to be a blow to the Democrats....., their Congress polls lower than Trump or Pence..... and their cohorts in the media fare ever worse, in fact the only institution with NEGATIVE ratings! And this is GALLUP a usual left leaning polling empire! "Trump's 60% approval rating for his handling of the coronavirus is higher than his 49% overall job rating, meaning that a substantial percentage of Americans approve of his handling of the current health crisis while disapproving of his performance more generally."
By contrast, nearly all Republicans (93%), compared with 29% of Democrats, approve of Trump's performance, although Democrats' approval on this measure well exceeds their overall 13% rating for Trump in the same poll.
In addition to partisanship, the lower ratings among Democrats also appear to be a function of higher levels of worry among this group.
Of course, I would worry to if I listened 24/7 to the MSM......!!  |

Harvard/Harris Poll: 5-in-6 Americans Want to End Immigration from Mexico
In the midst of the Chinese coronavirus crisis, about five-in-six American adults said they want to see the United States end all immigration from Mexico.
The latest Harvard/Harris Poll asks Americans whether they would support or oppose an immigration moratorium on Mexico during the coronavirus crisis. Overall, 83 percent — or five-in-six — said they favor ending all immigration from Mexico at the moment.
This sweeping support for ending immigration from Mexico includes 75 percent of Hispanic Americans and 77 percent of black Americans. Another 73 percent of Democrat voters said they support ending immigration from Mexico, while 84 percent of swing voters and 93 percent of Republican voters support such a measure.
Even among the most liberal voters, nearly 70 percent said they support ending immigration from Mexico, as well as 74 percent of voters who supported failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in 2016.

People are driven by emotion and not by fact or logic. the fact is, there has, so far, been no significant infection of the virus from Mexican immigrants, either legal or illegal. The only observed potential infections were from a handful of Chinese Nationals who tried to cross our southern border illegally, but were caught (no word on how many might have been successful). |

Whether China is complicit intentionally or unintentionally, the result will likely be a serious effort by America to disengage from our massive economic and manufacturing dependence on China. And that will be a good thing.
