Dear Congressional Democrats:
You are embarrassing us.
Instead of taking on, or even discussing the problems that face this great nation, you have spent, and wasted over 2 years chasing your Big Foot monster. All, not “most”...not “some” but ALL of your hate-driven attempts to reject the vote of the United States citizens in 2016 have come to naught. You have refused, not just neglected, not forgotten, but refused to work with the President or anyone from the Republican side in your quest to vent your hatred, and the result is, we believe you have abandoned any sense of responsibility to run or even guide the country.
This latest tactic was started even before you knew anything had been done, and you have now officially become a laughingstock: A caricature of a deranged human being... comical if it wasn’t so sad.
[your turn]

I have an anecdote that might show who these congressmen & women are trying to please.
I was at a customers house yesterday, they were watching their grandchild while their daughter was at work (I don't know if this is a daily occurrence or was a one shot deal). As I am wrapping up, the daughter arrives to pick up the kid & breathlessly says to her parents "Did you hear the news? They are going to impeach Trump!!". She was actually gleeful about the possibility and had taken the medias bait once again, hook, line & sinker. Since I am not Colin Kaepernick, I kept my political opinions to myself, I wasn't being paid to spout my ideology. Nonetheless, I found her joy in hoping that our country goes through horrible process of a presidential impeachment to be sickening & quite sad.
We have a percentage of folks who consider themselves to be the enlightened ones, who believe everything the mainstream media says about this president and who care more about their political party than the health of the nation. They are not people I really wish to associate with.

[your turn] Dave I completely agree with you.

Much of the damage the left does is subliminal and all but invisible.
Yesterday morning, I was sitting at the gate at Ronald Reagan Airport waiting to board my return flight to Orange County. Behind me sat a young woman with a little girl, maybe five or six. I assumed maybe they were on the East Coast for a family funeral, because the little girl asked, "Mommy, is grandma in heaven?" And the mom replied, as sweetly as possible, "No, honey, she's just gone. You can believe in heaven if you like, but it's just a fairy tale. It's not real. When we die, we're just gone." What a wonderful thing to tell a little girl.
I turned around to look at this woman, and she returned my gaze with a sweet smile, obviously very proud of what an enlightened mother she is, while her little girl just looked crushed.

... the little girl asked, "Mommy, is grandma in heaven?" And the mom replied, as sweetly as possible, "No, honey, she's just gone. You can believe in heaven if you like, but it's just a fairy tale. It's not real. When we die, we're just gone."... That shows a real blindspot as far as how children think in comparison to adults. She may as well have followed it up with "And everyone that you know & love will be dead before you know it". For the sake of discussion, lets say this woman is correct, that there is no heaven and when we die, we are just dust. A child's mind is not yet able to comprehend that, so using heaven as a "fairy tale" until the girl is older will allow her to cope with loss. To not give her that is tantamount to child abuse. Of course, if the dead grandma in question is the mothers mom, it is pretty self evident that she is not in heaven based on the way her child turned out...

And, pray tell, how does this woman know with certainty that heaven does not exist? Sounds like she's engaging in a leap of faith herself--and one which posits a pretty depressing view of human existence, along with a lack of ultimate justice.
Perhaps she should brush up on Pascal's Wager.

Perhaps she should brush up on Pascal's Wager. I’ve made that argument many times... along with Ockhams Razor. trouble is, atheists don’t believe them, either, as those disposed to a disbelief in God will not suffer any paradigm that challenges such disbelief. Part of their resistance is in the individual, part is from the enemy who sees not want them questioning.
