Billb, did you ever get the notion that all this is an effort to make private transportation so expensive that the peasants are all forced to use public transport. Just climb into a bus or train with all the junkies, mentally ill, perverts and criminals, and hope you reach your destination in one piece. Meanwhile, the elite will continue to use limousines and private jets. Sounds pretty idyllic to me.

Bill Gates, Al Gore and John Kerry all graduated magna cum laude from the University of Hypocrisy & Bullshit. They believe that if you can afford to buy carbon offset credits, you should travel in private jets and limousines, and dine on steak and lobster. If you can't affort those credits, you should live in a cave and eat dirt. That's their real-world definition of equity.
And I believe Greta Thunberg is now a junior or a senior at that same university and will graduate soon.

There seems to be some connection between the fire in Maui and those in California..., Progressive, Liberals at the helm diverting monies and attention to renewables and other climate change history driven expenditures ignoring the obvious right in from of them.

Yeah, I can't wait until they tell the people in those 14 cities that they can no longer eat steak, hamburgers, tacos, bacon, sausage, fried chicken, pork chops, ham, Thanksgiving turkey, cheese, whipped cream, butter, yogurt or ice cream. Let's see how well that goes.
