I wonder if Greta Thunberg was there...after flying in on her private jet.

More and more every day, I'm convinced that hardcore environmentalists, and the radical leftists that support them, are among the shallowest thinkers in human history since we all lived in caves and hunted mastodons. Honest to God, they are like a toddler who sees a giant candy cane a hundred feet away and takes off at a full sprint to get at it without thinking even one step ahead. They don't notice or don't care that the ground between them and their goal is riddled with land mines, bear traps, crocodiles, wolverines and Hamas jihadists with decapitation swords. All they know is what they want, and they ignore all the pitfalls in getting there. I almost expect the California legislature to pass a law requiring half of all Californians to live on Mars by 2040, to ease the environmental burden this state.
They are stupid, stupid people.

VP will try and immulate Pete Booty Judge and become TRANSpo Secretary.....

This Thursday the UN Climate crisis talks start in Dubai. The number 1 talking point will be cutting the US consumption of meat. President Biden will not be going this year and will be flying out John Kerry in his place.

When you and I jump on the freeway TARMAC, we say "Oh darn, look at the traffic". But when some people jump on the freeway they say "How can I help get rid of these people". I try to explain their reasoning in other ways, but truly some people with a lot of power see it that way, including Gates and Fink.

You know what carbon they want to get rid of, I think? The carbon-based units running around on the planet. Us. The left hates humanity. Only .4 percent of the atmosphere is carbon. They are worried that it will go up to .5 percent (averages). Point five percent from point four percent? Every organic molecule has carbon attached. Carbon is central to life. These people are crazy. CO2 has been increasing ever so slightly, but the sea levels have not increased like predicted.

I often wonder how much some "progressives" actually know about the causes they champion. What pecentage of them know that all life on earth is carbon-based -- all people, animals, plants, fungi, algae and bacteria, as well as all proteins, carbohydrates, fats and DNA? If we were to "decarbonize" the planet, the only things left would be water, ice, salt, and some rocks, sand and dirt. What a utopia that would be. If they want to set an example for the rest of us, perhaps they should all stop eating and die.

It looks like the climate is changing: Record lows in Sweden... Thank goodness they're switching to electric, right?

I saw a guy on Twitter yesterday complaining that "Scientist can predict the eclipse and the exact positions, but some people say they can't predict climate change..." Well, they got the eclipse wrong too. The irony: Scientists Warn Eclipse Totality Path Has Shifted from What Was Previously Projected "Well, OK… maybe not everything. But the projected “path of totality” has shifted enough that some people who were expecting to see the full monty without leaving their homes may be disappointed. “A new eclipse map — based on an updated figure for the radius of the sun — was published recently by John Irwin, a master in eclipse computations,” Forbes reported last weekend." www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/04/scientists-warn-eclipse-totality-path-shifted-previously-projected/The sky is falling, the sky is falling.... LOL
