Oh, and impeachment leader Rep. Adam Schiff (D) is tied to Ukrainian arms dealer Igor Pasternak. Probably nothing, though.....
And why is Adam Schiff hiding the "whistleblower?"

Beacuse that's what one does with whistleblowers. That's the law.
As to Schiff conducting "secret" hearings...this is the first phase of the impeachment process where you interview witnesses to determine their credibility and to determine if there's enough evidence to move forward with impeachment, which will involve public hearings. It's just like what the Republicans did in their interminable Benghazi investigations. Nothing new here except the Republicans acting like idiots.
The problem for your side is that you can't attack the testimony so you have to attack the process...and you look like hypocritical morons for doing so.

When the testimony is being withheld from both the public and most of the members of Congress (the people's representatives), and is only being selectively leaked, I'd call that an unfair process.
As for the merits of the case we'll just have to agree to disagree.

This is being hyped because "He will be the first White House official to testify who listened in on the July 25 telephone call between Mr. Trump and President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine"
And, by the way, even if this official's assertion was the case (which the transcript does not support), it is not illegal. If that official is so disturbed and has a better idea of how to conduct foreign policy he is welcome to run for President himself.
The President has a duty to make sure our taxpayer funds were not used for corrupt purposes, as appears to be the case with the quid pro quo with Ukraine that Joe Biden boasted about on tape (and which may not necessarily have been illegal--just sleazy and highly unethical).

So this vote is simply a resolution to affirm her earlier unilateral declaration of an unofficial impeachment inquiry. As long as everything is unofficial they can make up the rules along the way, which has always been the plan.
Sorry folks, the voters--and the Senate GOP--are seeing through this charade. You want to impeach, hold a vote to open an official inquiry (which then grants due process rights for the President and the minority party), as was done with Andrew Johnson, Richard Nixon, and Bill Clinton.

The Mueller report took over 2 years and would still be going if Barr did not order the report to be turned in. They will drag this out as long as they can while leaking to the press a bunch of lies.

You hit the nail on the head. It's the best weapon they've got in their arsenal.
It sure ain't their platform, assuming one is even visible to begin with.

I've seen Ciaramella's name mentioned before as the possible whistleblower leaker Adam Schiff accomplice. If this is true--and what is reported here is verified--this whole impeachment coup attempt is even more destined to backfire on the Democrats and the Deep State.

"He was fired from the National Security Council in 2017 for leaks, and returned to the CIA."
What? I guess if there's one place you want a leaker it's in the nation's premier espionage agency.

When Clinton was being impeached, was it all driven by the GOP?

When Clinton was being impeached, was it all driven by the GOP? For the most part, yes, although Special Counsel Ken Starr (appointed by Janet Reno) cited 11 possible grounds for impeachment in four categories: perjury, obstruction of justice, witness tampering and abuse of power. Clinton ultimately lost his law license and was fined heavily as a result of the case. Impeachment (or the mere talk of it) is almost always a partisan political action (Nixon's case was the only bi-partisan example) and the impeaching party will suffer blowback from the voters, as in Clinton's case. The same will happen--but with even great ferocity--with the Democrats and Trump. If they choose to go this route it will make the Kavanaugh hearings look like a love-in. It will motivate the Trump base for 2020 like nothing you can imagine. There may also be a large number of people (a few million?) who didn't vote in 2016 but will come out of the woodwork to vote for Trump if Democrats try to nullify the 2016 election through impeachment.

Good of Mr. Graham to decide the case before he's heard any of the evidence. Very impartial on his part.

This from Fox analyst Judge Napolitano seems to have teeth "That is a mouthful of facts to swallow in one bite, but the legal implications are straightforward and profound. Whether one agrees with federal law or not, it is a crime to solicit assistance for a federal campaign from a foreign government. As well, the crime of bribery consists of a government official refraining from performing a legal duty until a thing of value is delivered to him." www.foxnews.com/opinion/judge-andrew-napolitano-hiding-plain-sight

Yeah, who would have thought that FOX News would print such calumny.
