I read the entire RCI story on Ciaramella. This whole episode is an absolute joke. Ciaramella is about as partisan as it gets. It's all an effort to deflect from Biden's 2015 quid pro quo with Ukraine (which he brags about on those "tapes" that Vindman alluded to) and the DNC's work with Ukrainian officials to smear Trump during the 2016 election (which was reported on by Politico in January 2017 but now the media pretend that this never happened and is all a "conspiracy theory.")
Don't worry, Bill Barr and John Durham will expose it all soon enough.

Again, whistleblowers only have protection against retaliation; they have no right to anonymity--this is just another fake narrative. Adam Schiff touted the guy's testimony until it was discovered he lied about the whistleblower's contact and coordination with his staff before he even filed his report.
Deep Staters and their media allies really, really, really don't want the "whistleblower" to be identified or to testify publicly. I wonder why?

It's understandable why Schiff and Pelosi want this guy swept under the rug.

Not only is the whistleblowers's Eric Ciaramella's attorney a far-left partisan who has publicly called for a 'coup' against Trump as far back as 2017, he's a borderline pervert.

Nothing to see here, folks.... He looks alot like the Pajama Boy, the guy that the Obama administration used in their ads to push Obamacare to the millennials. I would also wager that he was always picked last for any sport in gym class, drove a sensible foreign car in high school and graduated 12th grade as either a virgin (if he is straight) or as a slut (if he is gay).

I came across this reason why the author of the recently released book disparaging trump and the whistle-blower are still anonymous and why it's important to retain their anonymity.
Trump & Co.'s modus operandi is to ignore the substance and personally attack and discredit the messenger. If he doesn't know who it is he's reduced to the shopworn "fake news" trope which is far less effective than a good 'ol base-rallying personal attack. That's why Trump and Repubs are so strident in demanding to know who it is. He has one defense for everything and that is to attack, and without a person to savage he's helpless. The fact that he can't find out who these guys are has to be driving him (even more) nuts.
I was also pointed out that since the trump attack dogs can't get at the whistle-blower they'll go after his lawyer...and here you all are, proving him right. Carry on.

I was also pointed out that since the trump attack dogs can't get at the whistle-blower they'll go after his lawyer...and here you all are, proving him right. Carry on. The problem with you claiming victory, that you are correct that people are indeed "going after" the attorney, is that you are ignoring what they are going after him about. For heavens sake, the attorney was calling for a coup before Trump was even inaugurated!! That disqualifies him from having any legitimacy as far as representing someone in a situation like this, much in the same way a prosecutor can't tell a citizen "I think you are a bad person, I'm going to make sure you end up in jail" and then later, come up with some flimsy case to harass them with. Let me give you a very personal hypothetical in order to drive the point home. Lets say you were accused of something anonymously and it later turns out the accuser or his attorney had a history of posting tweets calling for the death penalty against anyone who engaged in gay sex or advocated deporting people who were openly gay. I would support you going after such a person because the legitimacy of their claim is compromised by their bias. Those people can not be trusted with accusing you of anything because they have openly acknowledged they are out to get you based on nothing more than who you are. Both the whistle blower and his attorney have been looking for anything to go after Trump. They took second hand knowledge of a phone conversation and twisted it into something it never was in order to fulfill their political agenda. I would have to think you would agree and see how the problems with the history of both the accuser and his attorney are relevant.

Geez VP. He's remaining anonymous because his book is politically driven, nothing else. Same for the original whistleblower/spy/leaker and his attorney.
