About 70% of residents said they are happy living here, a new statewide poll shows, crediting the state's diversity, economic opportunities and an enjoyable lifestyle as reasons to stick around.
I've never understood why diversity is such a compelling reason for some people being personally happy. I couldn't care less if California has a diverse population of whites, blacks, Hispanics, Asians, gays and trannies, or if the entire state were all one race or ethnic group, because I think it has absolutely no impact on my quality of life. I guess I have a long road ahead of me before I can become sensitive and enlightened enough to be a Karen. |

It's more than State Farm. Liberty Mutual and a couple other major players bailed on the state. You can imagine what that did to our business renewal premiums this month. |

I grew up in a time when we weren't supposed to be looking at race, but instead at the quality of the individuals so I agree and couldn't care less who does what behind closed doors or the color of their skin or slant of their eyes. |

Yes you guys, I think this isn't going to end well. Kids are being taught the white guy is the root of their problems. And if they didn't get it in HS, they are getting it at some workplaces.

At 22 minutes into the video you will hear that CA imports oil from Ecuador. But, since they have to transport the oil, it uses a larger footprint. Stupid California.
Tankers also wait offshore for the price to go up and then bring it into port. So they anchor offshore and wait.
