That's a technicality. The numbers of "crimes" may be down because the only crimes that can be counted are the ones that are reported by the victims. With many crimes being downgraded, and with police and prosecutor response being disappointing, many crimes just aren't reported anymore. And that makes the total numbers of REPORTED crimes look better.
Yet here in California, we re-elect these loser leaders cycle after cycle.
Yep, and that's why we deserve whatever misery we get.
Lastly, the Republicans have our state, Newsom and Harris to pin all this on nationally during a Presidential campaign. They have completely missed the mark on marketing the effects to the rest of the nation on what such policies would bring to each and every state.
