For anyone who might be in the mood to protest this sham by boycotting those stores that have gone completely Nazi:
Sprouts is still the only grocery/department establishment I've seen that has a uniformed security guard out front to turn away shoppers who aren't wearing masks.

I went to Coto De Caza yesterday and when the woman at the gate gave me the pass, she handed it to me using a 4 foot long "grabber" type mechanism. I literally (& intentionally) laughed at her as I took it and entered the community.
I've decided to throw decorum out the window and publicly mock and laugh at people who are going over the top with precautions. This includes those who drive around wearing a mask. I saw a mail delivery person doing that today, but he was out of mocking distance, so I just flipped him off.

That mask deal from Newsom is just weird: 2 weeks ago, Illinois cancelled a deal with China to ship us millions of dollars worth of masks because the first shipment was the wrong kind and wouldn’t do what our governor intended them to do ... since masks don’t prevent disease like this, I don’t know what he intended them to do.

The state just paid off the balance from the last time they did it.
Employers are now looking at a doubled unemployment insurance expense, which last time was about $250 per employee per year.

One of the things I admire most about our state government is how the left hand always knows what the right hand is doing. Everything works in sync like a well-oiled machine. For example, I received a notice in the mail yesterday reminding me to renew my driver's license, which expires in August. There are five places on the notification where I'm urged to go to the DMV website and make an appointment for doing so at a local DMV location because a knowledge test a vision test will be required.
I went to the website only to find that all DMV offices are closed indefinitely, and no reservations or appointments can be made until further notice. I guess in this case, the left hand doesn't even know what the left hand is doing.
