Not exactly mainstream news at this point, but I thought it a significant milestone considering how dependent on foreign oil we were not that long ago.

This was foreseeable at least back when Obama was trying to shut down pipelines and off-shore drilling.
I started expecting it when Trump opened them up...

A lot of this has to do with this Administration is allowing fracking. Something the Dems have vowed to stop if elected.
