1,100 Former DOJ Employees Call On Barr To Resign After Intervening In Stone CaseMore than 1,100 former Department of Justice officials are calling on Attorney General William Barr to resign after his department lowered the prison sentence recommendation for Roger Stone, a longtime ally of President Trump, in a move that's led to accusations of political interference.
In a letter released Sunday, the former DOJ officials, who have worked across Republican and Democratic administrations, wrote that Barr's intervention in the Stone case has tarnished the department's reputation.www.npr.org/2020/02/16/806525297/1-100-former-doj-employees-call-on-barr-to-resign-after-intervening-in-stone-casI guess not everyone is happy that Barr "stepped up".

Absolutely the necessary thing to do in the pursuit of impartial justice--move all these politically charged cases out of Washington, D.C.

I've been making the exact same case on a national board this week. Washington DC voted 92.8% for Hillary in the general election in 2016, and 4.1% for Trump. There is no way they ever convict a Democrat, and no way they ever acquit a Republican (except when said registered Republican is known for opposing Trump).
