This just happened today. Armed church-goers bring down a gunman in a Texas church.

Did you see that four churchgoers pulled out handguns? And that guy on the left took him down with a single shot at about 20 yards. And most of the people just ducked and then looked more vaguely curious than concerned.
There’d have been pandemonium anywhere else.
Texas is different.
I’m dying to see Biden’s response, assuming anybody has a pair to ask him for one.............Luca

Actually, the first guy he talks to, who is the 2nd guy shot, may have gotten off the shot that dropped him I believe.
EDIT: No, maybe not, now that I've watched it again.

A head shot from about 15 yards away on a moving target that is firing back...I'd say that guy has been to the range a few times in his life. If that was in San Francisco, the shooter would have been invited to speak from the pulpit. Then again, if it was in San Francisco, odds are the church would have been empty. |

The third guy from the right really misplayed it, and paid for the mistake. He stood up first, drawing attention to himself, then wrestled with his weapon which I think was stuck in a pocket not a holster. While he struggled to draw he got shot and killed. He should have tried to draw less conspicuously and then stood up to fire, or even fired while sitting. He made himself a target.
I times it and it was 5.34 seconds from the time the a-hole pulled out his rifle until the guy on the left cut him down. That’s an incredible response time. I’ll bet the a-hole had been acting suspiciously and the guy on the left was watching him in advance.
I’ve been considering getting a concealed carry license...............Luca

If that had happened in San Francisco, twenty guys in dresses would have run screaming from the church looking for the Ladies room. Trouble is, they'd just be running aimlessly. There are no ladies rooms in SF. That's sexist, and now illegal. They'd just be crapping in the streets like everyone else. |

He's either damn good, or, perhaps, had divine help with his aim. The Lord works in mysterious ways. Perhaps there were two openings in Heaven, and one in Hell, and it was their time to go. |
