I think on issues the Democrats have been rendered useless during and POST COVID-19.....,
First.., how is that "OPEN BORDERS" issue working out for you know... Americans will balk now at any notion people (disease/virus) should just be allowed to flock across our borders at will. Calling Trump a racist and a xenophobe is no longer a valid talking point.
How about the progressive notion that we all need to live in BIG CITIES or be forced into centralized living leaving suburban and urban America behind...? Honestly the happy people in America are the ones now not in these BIG CITY VIRAL COMMUNITIES!
And how is the debate now for GOVERNMENT HEALTHCARE for ALL or the progressive take over of mediate, doctors and hospitals? This CRISI the left is crying over is one in which the CDC and government failed in not being able to foresee nor address the issue as it unfolded. You really want the ENTIRE medical game in their hands?
Corporations are bad they say? Well it was and is an will be corporate America solving MOST the Coronavirus problems.
Economics? The stimulus bill just stole the Democrats WET DREAM, hand out others and tax money to citizens! See, you don't need Liberals and their dramas to get socialism!
CHINA! Trumps "MAKE AMERICA GREAT" will ring loud and clear as EVERYONE now realizes our dependence on them was the root of our problematic response with being ties to supplies and drugs made cheaply overseas.
GLOBAL WARMING? Those scientist the quote daily saying stay locked down also believe a few temperature ticks up may stop the virus in its tracks... we could sure use a HEAT WAVE right about now!
And lets be HONEST, two weeks ago we had the best economy, best consumer sentiment, lowest unemployment, highest stock market in history.., so yes this crisis took a toll on that, but Americans want that back and they want assurance... whom did that and can PROVE he did it... O'Biden or TRUMP!

Sometimes I don't know where to put a post as they qualify under many headings... but this is about an election and using a crisis to win it. Not one of Terence's better rants but more about Maxine's comments at a time like this. If this was really a crisis of magnitude, nobody would be acting like this. A real crisis one would be trying to make better not worse.

Maxine Waters, like many congressmen, is a petrified relic who has long outlived any usefulness she may ever have had, but she keeps getting re-elected because she represents a very ignorant district. I wouldn't go so far as to say she has crap for brains, but I'd be willing to bet she gets dumber every time she has a bowel movement.

The US Supreme Court just sided with Republicans in the first coronavirus-related election case

The US Supreme Court had one day to decide the first in what will surely be a slew of coronavirus-related cases. This one concerned the April 7 Wisconsin general and presidential primary elections and an extension for mail-in ballots ordered by a lower court late last week.
In a 5-4 decision, with the conservative justices all joining to approve and the progressives dissenting, the high court sided with the Republican National Committee. It granted a request for a partial stay that limits an extension on mail-in ballots, which would have been sent in and counted until April 13. The majority said the question presented was narrow and technical and concluded that Wisconsin voters would still be able to vote safely because ballots mailed out by tomorrow could still be counted until April 13.

The story is that the Coronavirus is not man-made, but it was accidently released through carelessness of a lab in Wuhan, close to the wet market. The real story is the reckless endangerment of the Chinese Government in covering up the virus, and the WHO covering for the Chinese.

And intentionally allowing thousands of its citizens to continue to fly out of China, and more particularly out of Wuhan, on international flights once the potential of this virus was known. It is China, and China alone, that turned this from a local outbreak into the global pandemic we have today. |

I still believe there is much more to this “outbreak” than we are being allowed to know. So much of what we are seeing and hearing just makes no common sense to me.

Why do you say that the WHO covered for the Chinese?
Just playing devil's advocate for the moment...if the situation were reversed, how quick would we be to inform the Chinese?

The head of the WHO gave an interview which he said the virus could not be spread through contact, when he was fully aware that it was being spread that way. The WHO also continued to support the Chinese for their expert handling of the outbreak, which we now know was a lie.
