I was wondering how long it would take for President to realize that he needs to purge himself of the spies amongst him or if he would actually do it. I understand he had Vindman escorted from the WH. I wonder how long it'll take him to find a way to get to the alleged whistleblower who started all of this? Whatever you think of the man, I can't see someone like Romney doing this. What do you think of this?

With the dual clouds of Mueller and impeachment no longer hanging over Trump's head, it's now time to clean out ALL the Obama holdovers who have been actively undermining the Executive branch administration.

Sondland is gone, and Vindman is lucky he hasn't been court-marshaled for insubordination, or even for acting as an agent of a foreign power. He should, at least, be reassigned to Fairbanks Alaska. Truman got rid of MacArthur for questioning his policies openly. Why not Vindman?

Sondland and Vindman should have learned the lesson of Michael Cohen. The Democrats will recruit virtually anyone to take down Trump and then hang you out to dry.

Time to rid the place of the cockroaches and other vermin too.

I acknowledge Trump is only the president so his power is limited by the Constitution, but personally, I would much rather he drain the swamp that is currently Congress.

When he promised to drain the swamp, he should have started right there in his administration, the State Department, NSA and the rest.

Vindman wasn't an Obama "holdover"...he didn't take a position in the WH until 2018. So there's that.

Trump fires the guy...and his brother, strictly for revenge...and here you are saying it's the democrats who will hang people out to dry...up is down, black is white, eh credo?

There was absolutely no reason to court-martial Vindman...what foreign power do you imagine he was working for again?
Yeah, that's the best post for a guy with his background...oh wait, you want to punish him for...what again?
How about because Vindman never questioned Trump's policies, openly or otherwise.

I'm wondering how any rational person can encourage such behavior in a president. Seriously. This is the stuff of petty dictators and ruthless tyrants and here you are recommending the President of the united States behave this way.
This is what the Republican party now represents...calling a decorated and wounded veteran of 20 years a "spy", and calling for him to be punished. Congratulations.

He touched on some items I was considering as well.
They're valid questions.

If questions about dismissing Vindman from the NSC don't amount to anything more than policy and personnel disagreements (i.e., Orange Man Bad) then I don't see much point in addressing them. Vindman was clearly insubordinate; end of story. He should have been gone a long time ago.
