We're already playing both Centennial and Bosco, and I don't think we can book them twice.

There's no by-laws stopping you from it. I've seen it done before.
MD v. Bosco is more evenly matched than any other opponents for either of you.

Like I said “7 Game Series” would garner most interest in all of HSF.

SK80 you're right. That would be great to watch.
I think we could be competitive in 7v7 with either Bosco / MD / Cen10. But once the OL / DL get involved, it's a huge mismatch. We had zero offers of any kind for anyone on either side of the line, going up against guys will likely all be playing on Saturdays.
As Sweetness pointed out, we scrimmaged them last year, and really couldn't run anything that resembled an offense. Our Qs were getting smacked around, and that was despite agreeing to not hit the Qs. Imagine a real game.
You guys were state Champs last year, and handled us pretty good. But, it still felt like a football game up front. Your skill guys were just way better than ours. Unless we can be even reasonably competitive with those national programs up front, I don't see how they'll make it on our schedule.

Not sure until I see whom exits how I would see it. Sans Covid Chaos I would go 4-1 MD or if they actually plated all 7 games 5-2 MD. Love 7v7 to watch, its fun skillz, @bick to be competitive against MD or Bosco you still need a defense back unit and unless you have a bunch of transfers this year taking those rolls not sure LA could keep up. Again that is strictly looking at your defense last season at both the Varsity and Frosh level. CDM varsity put up 48 at the end of 3 on an eight they were actually off. CDM's offense in the Frosh game lit up 58 points on your younger "D" kids. Agree, the lines at MD and SJB are just too big and strong and have NO holes unlike most publics. In public ball every game is really a challenge in the sense you have opportunities to make big game changes week to week as teams have all sorts of strengths and weaknesses as opposed to the teams known as MD and SJB, those weaknesses are slight in nature. Regarding last years game, CDM vs LA, I stated it many times during the season, overshadowed by one of the best public HSF units ever our defense was much better than anyone wanted to acknowledge. They allowed less than 100 yards passing that night and gave up only 25 yards on the ground to the Griffins. On the other side it was 48-7 when CDM took the foot off the gas. Agree on your take, I would not play a MD or SJB if I were a public school, I know all to well how good they are and what the limitations are at publics, would not subject kids to that, seriously, is their an agreement when playing La Mirada to play half speed?

SK80 you're right. That would be great to watch. ...seriously, is their an agreement when playing La Mirada to play half speed? The closest thing I ever saw to that scenario, was when Servite played J Serra in 2006. The game was a forfeit before it was ever played, and is officially recorded that way. (J Serra forfeited all league games that season). Servite agreed to play the game anyway, at J Serra's request, so that the Lions could have a homecoming game. The Friars didn't actually "play half speed," but most of the starters did not play at all. Final score was competitive...Servite 29 J Serra 22...unofficial.

a couple of years ago CDM abasolutely mauled JSerra in passing league. They they played week 1 with real pads on, and JSerra absolutely beat the snot out of them up front.
Passing league is not real football.

Very few HS teams can match with even the weakest Trinity teams up front.

Here's a look at San Clemente's schedule, looks like a good one for the Tritons. San Clemente’s 2020-21 high school football schedule includes showdowns against Corona Del Mar, Loyola scorebooklive.com/california/san-clementes-2020-21-high-school-football-schedule-includes-showdowns-against-corona-del-mar-loyola/
Here’s an inside look at San Clemente’s 2021 schedule:
SAN CLEMENTE’S 2020-21 VARSITY FOOTBALL SCHEDULE:
Week 1 – Away vs. Torrey Pines – 1/8 Week 2 – Away vs. La Costa Canyon – 1/15 Week 3 – Home vs. Corona Del Mar – 1/22 Week 4 – Away vs. Edison – 1/29 Week 5 – Home vs. Murrieta Valley – 2/5 Week 6 – Home vs. Loyola – 2/12 Week 7 – Home vs. Westlake – 2/19 Week 8 – Away vs. Tesoro – 2/26 Week 9 – Away vs. San Juan Hills– 3/5 Week 10 – Home vs. Mission Viejo – 3/12
2019 RECORD: 0-13. San Clemente dealt with the extremely unfortunate fate of having to forfeit all of their games a year ago after the CIF found evidence that the Tritons fielded an ineligible player. San Clemente had won two Division 2 Southern Section playoff games before the decision came down that ended their season. They were 10-2 at that point.
2021 SCHEDULE ANALYSIS: This is a tough schedule. Both Torrey Pines and La Costa Canyon should be top ten teams in San Diego. Corona Del Mar against San Clemente should be a very competitive game. The same can be said of the Tritons’ other non-league contests against Edison, Murrieta Valley, Loyola and Westlake. There are no gimmes there.
In the South Coast League, games against San Juan Hills and Mission Viejo will challenge San Clemente too.
The Tritons have a very talented senior class led by two-way standouts Cole Batson (Boston College commit) and Bentley Redden (BYU commit) as well as star running back James Bohls (Arizona commit). If these three play, San Clemente will be very dangerous.
2022 quarterback Lachlan Rosmalen transferred in from St. John Bosco this offseason. He should take over for Nick Billoups, who had a great 2019 before the Tritons’ season came to an abrupt end. To state the obvious, Rosmalen’s performance under center will have a big impact on San Clemente football’s season.
CAN’T MISS CONTESTS: Week 3 vs. Corona Del Mar and Week 9 at San Juan Hills.
Where will San Clemente rank in the Orange County high school football hierarchy this year? Mission Viejo will be one. Who comes next? The results of the two games listed above will answer that question.
TRAP GAME: Week 7 vs. Westlake
Quarterback Jaden Jones has transferred from Oxnard to Westlake. He’ll be tough to contain. Texas A&M commit Victory Vaka, a defensive lineman, will be playing his senior year for the Warriors, he announced after initially saying he wouldn’t. Those are two big time football players.
Westlake may have gone 2-9 a year ago, but they were competitive in many of those defeats while playing one of the toughest schedules in the region. This won’t be a cakewalk for San Clemente.
PREDICTION: 8-2
