She is simply delusional. To say he laid out no vision at all. No he laid one out and you don't like it. Thats ok but to claim he said and meant nothing at all? I've said this often in my life and I understand this is how representation works yet Congress or the house is one place someone with little knowledge or education can get elected to do a major job. Most in Congress now know nothing about taxation, economics, medicine and healthcare. Yet they are making the biggest decision for us all. Talk about no pilot or captain running a ship or plane!

She is actually the Democratic counterpart to Sarah Palin. Palin similarly caught all kinds of grief because she was young and energetic and enthusiastic, but a little short on the knowledge required for the job. Cortez is her left wing mirror image and she is going to become a punch line.

Ocasio-Cortez is so vapid, she makes Sarah Palin look like Margaret Thatcher by comparison. IMHO, Palin was the only thing that made John McCain's otherwise flabby '08 campaign actually interesting for a while.

The Green New Deal that AOC unveiled today has got to be one of the most preposterous and literally insane proposals ever put forth by a sitting member of Congress. Anyone who supports this should never again be taken seriously in public life. It almost makes me think that higher-ups in the Democratic party greenlighted today's roll-out just to make AOC look ridiculous.

I had my eyes dilated yesterday for my annual exam, and was driving home with my cool super-dark plastic shades and sipping a cup of coffee. When I heard on the radio about the plan to "retrofit every building in America" and to build "highspeed rail at a scale where air travel stops becoming necessary" I actually spit out my coffee and almost crashed into the car ahead of me. I admit now I was wrong about Ocasio-Cortez. I had thought for months that she was a naive toddler, but she's really more of a self-deluded imbecile who almost got me killed.

You may have a point. When we're all riding burros instead of driving cars, crashes will be more common but less dangerous.
Make that burros who don't fart, since farting animals will also be a thing of the past.

I've been hearing more and more discussion and commentary about the "details" of the Green New Deal as the days go by, and I must say this: My first memory of national politics was watching the Kennedy-Nixon debate on a 19" black-and-white television in my parents' living room in 1960. In the 59 years since, the Green New Deal is the most mind-numbingly stupid proposal I've ever heard.
