Below is a 4 minute clip of an interview Rona Barrett did with Donald Trump in 1980, when Trump was 34 years old. A couple of things I noticed;

Trump spoke in a different manner then as far as choice of words. Over the years, he has chosen to simplify the words he uses, apparently in an effort to better communicate ideas;
For a celebrity interviewer, Rona Barrett did a good job of asking straight questions and getting a response from the person she was interviewing. The folks at TMZ could learn a little from her.

MDDad, do me a favor & watch this clip. What is your opinion of Trump at that age and does it change anything about the way you currently view him?

I've watched this before, it's really actually interesting, the guy is who he is...., in the first 30 seconds he talks about AMERICA POTENTIAL, we are using little of it, PROPER LEADERSHIP! RESPECT from other countries, and LOL @ dedicating yourself to public service.... a very MEAN LIFE! "Turn This Country Around"... fascinating, 40 years ago!

It baffles me why the left, whom Trump was basically a Democrat and in the least isn't some religious right ideologue in which they fear, has so much vitriol... including those whom use to buddy up, smooze and socialize with? Weird.
