Here's a good way to kill the franchise. No way I'm spending money to let my kids watch that. They could also "progressively kind of create a new character" by giving Spider-Man two assholes, but Hollywood always has to take the path that screws up a good thing. If they turn Wonder Woman into a transgender dude, I'm done with the whole thing. |

Yeah, I'm sure that your threats worry Sony to no end...you guys are really representative of the demographic this franchise is aimed at.

If they turn Wonder Woman into a transgender dude, I'm done with the whole thing. Have you run across any numbers regarding how the movie business is doing? Not sure how they measure it anymore. Assume it's still box office. Seems like a clear downward trend |

I’m already done with the franchise... when they made that last series into a 2-parter, I figured other were out of salable ideas. Now, having to reach out to the aberrant side of our culture, I’m sure of it. know when to hang up the gloves. |

Because we all look to Hollywood superhero movies as a guide on how to perceive reality. I'd be embarrassed to be seen as so pretentious as to believe that these comic book reenactments are social trend setters, and that I - dressed in red and blue spandex - am blazing a path into a better future.
The presumptuousness of a certain segment of Hollywood is hysterical sometimes. My God, they get their 15 seconds of podium time at the Oscars and use it to educate the stolid masses on the status of cows, vegan diets, women and the absence of transgender, trisomic Lithuanian stunt people. It can be annoying, but ultimately you have to admit it's funny to read things like this and see how seriously these people take themselves.
So sure, bring on the transgender Spider-Man and the female James Bond. Hollywood could use more comedies.......................Luca

I thought conservatives were supposed to have the free-market attitude of "if you don't like it, don't go see it"...surely you can find something you do like?

I’ve seen several movies I like recently, and I don’t think I’ve ever gone to one of those Marvel comic book movies. I don’t care if anyone else does. But they’re mindless and pointless, which makes it even funnier that one of the actors would take himself so seriously. Like Daffy Duck seeing himself as the role model for aquatic fowls the world over. That sense of gravitas is actually more entertaining than the movies themselves....................Luca
