I ran across this trans guy who was responding to Charlize Theron announcement her 7 yr old boy now identified as a girl. Might be one of the most level headed trans person I've read.
Very interesting perspective whose position and thought process on his choice I support. Check out his responses on Twitter.

Yeah, as the wife always says, "like a three year old knows what what they should be."
Had it been my kid, I would have pulled his pants down and said "You see that thing between your legs? It means you are a boy. You may think you WANT to be a girl, but you're not a girl, you're a boy."

The backlash from actual feminists is on the horizon.

My nephew moved to Washington DC last year and early on, his condo association had an article on their website about a new problem of used condoms being left around the property. My nephew chimed in the comments that they were from "tranny hookers turning tricks" in the area. He got lambasted by dozens of people for his choice of words, including one person who wrote "they are people & they have rights!" (To which my nephew replied "No, they are criminals breaking the law and littering"). He was called every kind of -phobic name they could come up with.
The irony of the situation? My nephew is gay and has been "out of the closet" for about 2 decades.

A doctor has said it in ALL CAPS, 5 times no less. Dorothy only had to say it 3 times.
OK - The science is done, and it must be true. Time to move on.

The last thing we need is seeing Bruce Jenner compete in the women's heptathlon in the next Olympics.

Now there's a visual. Bruce wearing a tight-fitting bikini with a big penile bulge down below. That'll set the movement back another 20 years.

I don’t understand what it means to say that “feminism has to be intersectional.”
I know what an intersection is but I have no idea what that sentence means. Does anybody here?....................Luca

I may have said this before, but in the most simplest terms, gender issues are nothing more than the mind & the body not agreeing what gender a person is. So why does everyone on the left believe that even though the body has the parts of a certain gender, the mind is the one that is correct in the conflict? Doesn't it make more sense that the mind is the part that is confused and is the one that requires medical attention?
I totally believe that those folks who feel they are a different gender than the parts they were born with are being sincere in relaying their feelings. However, they are being let down by the medical community who gives in to that belief and attempts to change that which is healthy to match that which is ill.

Does anybody here?....................Luca Intersectionality is an offshoot of feminism and identity politics in which the validity of your opinion or grievance depends on how many various "victim groups" you belong to (thus the "intersection" of gender, race, sexual orientation, handicap, etc.). It's pretty much the currently reigning orthodoxy at most colleges and universities. In an excellent article in New York Magazine entitled "Is Intersectionality a Religion?", liberal writer Andrew Sullivan described it this way: Here's a short video from Prager U. that ably describes the "theory":

Geez. Thank you, I think. I watched the Prager video and now I know what it means, but I feel depressed for knowing it.
I like to collect quotes. I’m too lazy to look it up now, but one them was from - I think - Cicero who said something like “There is no idea so foolish that some philosopher has not already proposed it.” I was going to say “You couldn’t make this stuff up”, but obviously somebody can.
It reminds me of when I try to read and understand particle physics. I thought I had a good grasp of electrons and protons and neutrons and such, but then they start talking about quarks and leptons and spins and ‘flavors’ (charm, up, down, etc) and antineutrinos and you start wondering whether you’re reading a physics article or The Onion. Who is making this shit up, you wonder.
Now it’s “intersectionality”. ................Luca
