Last try! Maybe I'm just technically challenged!

The Searchers do a great version too, but I'm a Jackie DeShannon fan.

Was playing music quiz on Alexa with granddaughter yesterday. You choose the decade, and it plays a clip of the song and you have to name the title and artist. It was kinda fun.
She picked 2010's and I picked the 60's. She beats me about 7 out of 10 times, but I was surprised I remember as much as I did.

A span of 10 years and vast change in music over this decade from beginning to end...., since the title "song(s)" is plural I might have to post a few...
A great tune by The Marvelettes...., Motown's first #1 BILLBOARD "HOT 100" hit single "MR. POSTMAN". Week of December 11 1961. A question sometimes asked, "What was the #1 song the week you were born?" or "What song won the Grammy your birth year?" {Moon River}
The song was so popular the Beatles did a cover version in 1962 and The Carpenters did a version that went to #1 on Billboard again in 1975.

I cannot hear a clip of this song without heading over to YouTube to hear (and sing along with) the whole thing, so I suppose that makes it a favorite:

Bobbi was a year or two behind me and went to Katella (a different HS from me). Gorgeous blonde and a great girlfriend that made all my friends want to be me. She threw me over for Steve who worked at McDonalds with me (and also went to Katella).
i wanted to sing her this song:

I loved this song because of the poetic and universal lyrics, but this is the best rendition of it I've ever seen

A girl I dated once told me this so, needless to say, I had to get rid of her: I had no room in my life for such negativity:
