Meanwhile, in Orlando, thousands of people were allowed to watch the Arnold Palmer Invitational PGA event live and in person this weekend. You guys remember Florida, don't you? It's one of those states that allows personal choice and freedom. It's also a state with a testicular governor, instead of one with a gaping taco like we have. Post of the year. Hands down.

It's one of those states that allows personal choice and freedom. It's also a state with a testicular governor, instead of one with a gaping taco like we have. Post of the year. Hands down. Gaping taco* aside, Im going to disqualify it from "POTY" as I am on the ground in Florida right now. Although i am not in the RED part of the state, I am a bit disappointed in my firs two days here in South Florida, presently Baca Raton. Getting off the plane I figured ok its the airport and Federal Law rules here, mandatory masks. Yet, everywhere else I have visited, hotels, restaurants etc the mask mandate, guideline, request (not sure exactly which it is) has been enforced. Not as lax as perceived, or from what I have read or been told. That said, met up with one of my wife's college friends (Yes I married a Hurricane) whom is a huge Trumper down here and she explained better what I was experiencing and feeling, these three east coast Florida counties, Miami-Dade, Broward and West Palm Beach are fairly close to where I came from in Southern California, they are liberal and act like all liberal big cities and counties. UGH! I was ready ready for a Sans-Mask vacation. I will say it is not or has not been as crazy as California in the sense that inside dining is open in most places, its just wear a mask upon entrance. You can actually sit at a bar inside and tale off your mask. Again, I am not sure of the science or what the virus knows that it can attack you as you enter but once you sit down you are immune? Calling Dr. Fauci! Also of note, my sports friends here are going to games, all pro sport has some sort of entry, you can buy Heat tickets and attend games in some sort of "limited" or "regulated" capacity. So maybe it is a bit better than California. *taco ~ usually the last thing I ever do while traveling across most of the untied states (outside the southwest) is ever set foot in a Mexican restaurant. My Sottish-Austrian heritage couldn't have me further from being Mexican but without a doubt in another life I must have been because I could eat tacos, chips and every salsa every day. I spend more time in a Super King than any gringo I know! Last night our friends so wanted to go out for Margaritas and take us to their favorite Mexican Restaurant, I rolled my eyes knowing what the likely outcome of this was going to be.... MEGA-YUCK!! Probably would make my top 3 worst Mexican dinners lifetime award. The only saving grace was my Hibiscus Margarita!

Meh... not that big a deal: Go to a Grammys after party in Los Angeles where the mayor is in attendance, and you don’t have to wear a mask, either.

Liberals like to claim they're the champion of the poor and of minorities, yet they have been the biggest stumbling blocks to re-opening in-person schooling, which has hurt those same poor and minorities the most.
The year long shutdown of live, in-class instruction in Los Angeles public schools has had an adverse effect on children's academics, particularly those in low income areas. This report focuses on a back-to-school rally organized by the Women of Watts organization.

What a great pastor--like Jesus driving the money changers from the Temple. Wish we had his kind in the USA.

They are in a tough spot: Although likely agreeing with the pastors and business owners, they still have to do as the Mayor tells them, so in most cases, the bad apple is at the top of the barrel... But I still applaud this pastor.

All restrictions will be lifted by June 15th if CA continues on its current trend.
I’ll believe it when I see it. Newsom is notorious for dangling the carrot...
Side note, getting my second dose next week. First one wasn’t bad, but the arm did hurt the next day...

I get my 2nd one on Friday... and our Jabba the Governor has said nothing about loosening his grip.

"Follow the Science": masks are a proven protection against COVID
Actual Science: mask have little or no effect whatsoever on COVID
