I'm sure the 24/7 media demonizing of Kemp has nothing to do with that. Just wait a few weeks and the citizens of Georgia will be thanking God they're not living under lock down in Michigan or Virginia. |

It's a little early to get too excited about the results - whatever those truly are today. With the widespread increase in testing, I suspect more will test positive regardless of opening. What's missing from the discussion, unsurprisingly, is the delta between those counties with stay at home orders in place and the recently opened counties. |

It's a little early to get too excited about the results - whatever those truly are today. With the widespread increase in testing, I suspect more will test positive regardless of opening. What's missing from the discussion, unsurprisingly, is the delta between those counties with stay at home orders in place and the recently opened counties. True, increase testing mean increased positive tests--but most of those may be people who already had COVID some time in the past and were asymptomatic. The "new cases" number that is blared in the media is almost meaningless, since that includes people who tested positive for antibodies. What matters is new hospitalizations and new deaths. |

I'm getting the feeling this week that the Lockdown Left is beginning to realize it's on the wrong side of the majority of the people, and may be scrambling to save face. Tripling down on repressive policies that more and more people realize have no basis in science is going to cost them politically.
