We all know which states are RED and which are BLUE and then there are those that are somewhere in-between or PURPLE. With that, in an election year these purple or swing states are the key to the WHITE HOUSE.
If no more evident than now during this crisis termed Covid19, we states acting according to color which are the results of those parties running the show. Yet from this crisis we have seen some possible shifts like we didi here in California last week with two BIG wins for team RED. I think those were possibly seismic in there own way for 2020 and here is a small local tidbit from Virginia today....
Post your RED STATE ~ BLUE STATE topics here.....

Our area is red, within our blue state, and our local politicians are only voted on in off-national election years. So there are no major shifts yet, but our blue Mayors’ heads are definitely on the block and, with them, their sycophantic council members who have fallen in, lock-step, with our governor’s handling of all this.

Over the years, the increase of yellow & brown have turned Orange County from red to light blue.

If this doesn't expose whats going on... breakdown between Republican and Democrat and the RED and BLUE states they represent. Two Americas: Lockdown Left vs. Re-open Right
The novel coronavirus currently working its way through America isn’t political, we’ve been told repeatedly, and doesn’t discriminate between Democrats or Republicans. This much is true. But after two months of social distancing and government mandated stay-at-home orders, Americans are increasingly viewing the pandemic, and our leaders’ response to it, through a partisan lens.
The political divide among the public is stark. According to a CBS News/YouGov poll released Thursday, 88% of Democrats believe the top priority of America is to “stay home, slow virus spread.” Only 12% said the top priority should be “back to work, get economy going.” Sixty-two percent of Republicans, on the other hand, favored getting the economy going as the top priority, while 38% felt staying at home is the top priority. Put another way, the net difference between Democrats and Republicans on what the top priority of the country should be is 50 percentage points.
check out this in BLUE and RED.....
snip~ Yesterday, in an interview with Fox Business’s Maria Bartiromo, President Trump touched on this debate, saying that he felt the push to keep the country locked down was “a political thing.” He continued, “You know, if it was up to some people, ‘Let's keep it closed for a long time ... and watch the United States go down the tubes.’ Not gonna happen. Never gonna happen on my watch."

We're just open to all races and ethnicities, unlike our beach school brothers in the O.C. At CDM the diversity range is among those of Central, Northern, or Southern European backgrounds. They're still not sure about admitting Eastern Europeans.

Red vs. Blue = Freedom vs. Fear
All over the country people are increasingly making the choice for freedom, and that will only continue. They will have a chance to further voice that opinion at the ballot box in November. Liberal officials can get on board or get left behind.

Liberal officials can get on board or get left behind. had an interesting evening last night as we usually have people over and sit out in our very open space back yard...., my wife's friend and avid Trump Hater and big lib is a real genuine person regardless of our political differences. I only experience her real opines via watching her social media posts and rants. When we are together in person we are cordial and stay away from politics. However last night over dinner, for two hours she sounded nothing like a liberal in regards to Civid and the present situation. She came with her mask but never put it on. Again its like when you are in a crowd you simply join and conform. She knowing my wife and I are not in the least living in fear nor wearing masks rarely she was all good with it in our presence. And almost every one of her points in discussion supported the RED or Conservative approach to the crisis. I was shocked yet not... it was an evening talking logic. There is little of that on the left..... and last night, she wasn't in support of her party. How big will this be come November.....

My wife has a friend named Karen and the other day she asked "Who in the hell came up with this "Karen" thing? it's starting to piss me off. Who can I complain to about it?"
She didn't understand why I was laughing so hard.

But when you're 6'4" no one gives you crap.

...when I'm the only person at Lowe's or Stater Bros. without a mask. But when you're 6'4" no one gives you crap. I don't qualify for the 6'4" category, however my weapon is being a smart ass who can respond quickly. A normally unacceptable social trait that comes in handy. There is a comedian whose name currently escapes me who has a bit about how different types of people argue. The point of the bit is there are people like his girlfriend who immediately go for the jugular. His example was: Girlfriend - "Would you please take out the trash" Boyfriend - "I don't want to, I don't like always being the one to take out the trash" Girlfriend - " And I don't like the fact that you have a small dick and are a mommas boy" Boyfriend - (Pause) "Well, suddenly taking out the trash doesn't seem like such a big problem..." My wife says I often do the same thing in a confrontation.
