What made me happy was how San Clemente police handle the 50 or so folks who showed up to protest the following day. The protesters were allowed to march down the sidewalk with their signs, but the minute they started blocking traffic or attempting to intimidate drivers, they were arrested.
Protestors were allowed to protest, those who wanted to go further were removed.

Small consolation to those injured or killed, and to those hundreds of businesses that were burned down or looted. |
