Right and wrong determined by who is in power to deem it so.

Seems like a set up for the "1+1 may not really equal 2" argument, and there are no wrong answers. Somehow the engineering based on the reality that one plus one always equals two has allowed us to put men on the moon, send spacecraft beyond the edges of our solar system, and build telescopes that can see to the corners of our universe. It will take more than some woke fools insisting that one plus one doesn't always equal two to undo that legacy. |

Just from following the Derek Chauvin case this week, it seems almost impossible he could be convicted for murder--even of the 3rd degree charge.
If Derek Chauvin is acquitted--or convicted on a lower charge--the dynamics of potential rioting in reaction would be very interesting, considering this "injustice" would be occurring in a Blue State and under a Democrat President. Unlike the riots of 2020 there would be no political gain to be had from rioting in 2021--only potential losses in the 2022 midterms. Recall also that the Rodney King riots occurred in a year when a Republican president was running for re-election (1992), just like last year.

The Prosecutions’s expert witness on “use of force” was basically an expert for the defense. Bad bad lawyering.
Really feeling like this is moving toward an acquittal.
