Players should be signed by NFL teams based on their talent. If Goodell is insisting Kaepernick should be signed merely because he's black and a protester, he is a racist and should lose his job.

Signing Kaepernak to your team would almost certainly be a huge mistake. Aside from the talent issue – he hasn't played in several years and was released in the first place with good reason –can you imagine what a distraction he would be both on and off the field for your team?
Can you imagine how many fans would simply tune out your team if you did so? And then the grief you'd get if you didn't start the guy the second your starting QB faltered. You'd be much better off signing Tim Tebow and would likely get better on field performance.
I've often wondered why Goodell gets booed so much at NFL drafts, but I think I may be starting to understand....................Luca

When I pay a plumber to come into my home, it is understood he is receiving the money for working on my pipes. If he abuses his platform of being in my house and having me as a captive audience in order to deliver a political message, I would choose to not do business with him.
It is the same with the NBA or any professional sports. I am paying money & inviting the players into my home to watch a display of their unique talents. To abuse that platform and change the sporting event into a political forum is a bait & switch of which I will not tolerate. They have lost me & my money as a fan.
The 3 major sports are forgetting why people tune into them and pay enormous amounts of money that in turn make millionaires out of the players. People watch sports to get away from divisive things like politics, it is an escape. No fans equals future athletes working at a fast food restaurant instead of owning it.
