I assume people know that something like 65 or 70% of African-Americans polled said they did not object to the Redskins name and logo, and were not offended by it. It's primarily woke white Karens who were outraged, as usual.

Why were blacks polled? Redskins refer to Native Americans.

I am guessing that was a typo & that he meant Native Americans, otherwise MDDad is going the Biden route...

I went grocery shopping this past Monday, and interestingly enough, four months after they were "cancelled", I saw more Aunt Jemima pancake products, Uncle Ben rice products and Eskimo Pie ice cream products than I can ever remember. Is it possible that, much like Trader Joe's did, these companies caved in to the outrage of the left, and then, a few days later when the left had moved on to their next supernova issue, flipped them the bird and decided, "Eff you, you jackholes, we're not going to all the expense of replacing these products with something else." Now that would be poetic justice.

Now that would be poetic justice. Probably just trying to sell, off existing products. but it would be a lot more satisfying if they were telling the snowflakes to buzz off.

Speaking of cancel culture boycotts, I finally ran across two nectars from Goya. Mango and Passionfruit. They were yummy, although I doubt if they were good for my A1C test results. Yummy nonetheless.

Not sure this belongs here specifically, but it IS about a business that has become increasingly woke. the Green Top Grocery in Bloomington, Illinois, started off with a great plan: Local ownership that included limited partners buying in for $500, $1000, or $5000 apiece, only fresh and American-made products, physical store in an underserved area of the city... lots of good things going for it... at first. before they even opened the actual doors (after 2 or 3 years beating the bushes for funds), they were in danger of going under because they didn’t have enough funds... but eventually, they had enough so built the store... within six months, though, the first claim of racial discrimination came out and the Board of Directors didn’t seem to know what to do, so they canned the manager and one of their Directors on the board. Which started a flame war as everyone (oddly, many of the investor/owners) started hurling Facebook taints and accusations at ... well, everyone else. During all this, their prices rose because, well, they needed money to stay in business. Eventually, with literally every one up in arms, the entire board of directors resigned. up to this point, it can all be categorized as bad management... but... im not sure if it was fear of being looted, or just some misguided NFL-like decision by the new board, but a new banner joined their other banners outside the store: it’s almost as if they WANT to fail.

It's like the "black owned business" signs that were spray painted on the boarded up windows during the riots.

Do these kids realize their vote is essentially an in-kind contribution to the Trump re-election campaign?
