I'm not sure I understand the logic of the left. If we vote Republican and they win the day, we will become a one-party state and it will be the end of democracy. But if we vote Democrat and they win the day, we will still become a one-party state but we will preserve democracy? Say what?

I didn't see "Democracy" on the ballot. The ballot is democracy, along with fair elections. The Dems have it backwards.

Speaking of the left, I went shopping yesterday when I saw a young Asian couple doing the same. The husband and wife were wearing face maska and surgical splash shields. They had what looked like a one-year-old and a two-year-old in their shopping cart, and they were both fully masked as well -- two years after the pandemic was over. That's another indication of the longterm damage Anthony Fauci and the Democrats have done to this country.
