Like I said... picking Kamala from California is like a free punching bag for the entire nation..... The majority of states think California is not only nuts but insane.

I'm not one for watching how recent conventions have become boring and scripted rah-rah and dog and pony shows. Having said that, the various portions of tonight's RNC event that I did watch had outstanding production value and were genuinely moving. My wife--who's no big fan of Trump--agreed. What a contrast from the freak show of the DNC's Zoom telethon.
A aspirational message beats bitterness and backwards-looking every time. The masked DNC figures project weakness and fear. "Return to normalcy" is a winning theme right now.

Democrats have to know they're going to lose this election big time. All they can do now is muddy the waters and call into question the result--just like they did after 2016.
You can't find a single black person who is as enthusiastic for Joe Biden as Kim Klacik is for Donald Trump. There is absolutely no passion and no excitement for Biden and Harris. None.

Maybe the viewers were there to see the Republicans make fools of themselves? Like Kimberly Guilfoyle's speech...she's getting a lot of play as "the screaming lady"...  She also seems to think that people from Puerto Rico are immigrants...kinda dumb considering she's half Puerto Rican...she said this: "As a first-generation American, I know how dangerous their Socialist agenda is. My mother, Mercedes, was a special education teacher from Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. My father, also an immigrant, came to this nation in pursuit of the American Dream. Now, I consider it my duty to fight to protect that dream. Rioters must not be allowed to destroy our cities. Human sex drug traffickers should not be allowed to cross our border."I wonder what else she might be glaringly wrong about? She's not a first-generation American and she knows nothing whatever about Socialism. But she does support trump so it's all good. |

Who said her mom was a Puerto Rican citizen (& therefore a US citizen)? She said her mom was from Puerto Rico. She could have been born on a different island and moved to Puerto Rico as a child, never becoming a Puerto Rican citizen. With her dad coming from Ireland, that would make her a 1st generation American. Guilfoyle is an attorney, so I would be surprised if she goofed on using the correct language. If she did goof, the correct classification would be that she & her siblings were the first children born as Americans on the Guilfoyle (paternal) side of her family Big whoop. |

Kentucky AG Daniel Cameron juts blew Joe Biden out of the water. If Trump gets 20% of the black vote--and he should--this will be blowout victory in the electoral college.
