I’m not going to celebrate her death, but choose to celebrate her successes and impact she had on the SCOTUS and women nationwide.
I might not have always agreed with her views, but God rest Ruth...

I obviously disagreed with her political views, but no one can deny that RBG was a super star. She had a huge and mostly beneficial effect on women's rights.
May she rest in peace, and may God have mercy on her soul.

Next week is going to be a shit show.
The Dems, who whined & cried about no vote being taken on Merrit Garland back in 2016, will now flip and agree with Mitch McConnell's position then (no confirmation of nominees during an election year). The Dems are going to have to admit they were wrong in 2016 and that McConnell was correct for them to get their way in 2020.
McConnell, rather than being like the Dems and just flipping his position to the opposite of what he said in 2016, has instead expanded on it. He wrote "Since the 1880's, no Senate has confirmed an opposite-party presidents Supreme Court nominee during an election year". So since the Senate & presidency are the same party, McConnell can hold confirmation hearings without being hypocritical. He is a step ahead of Schumer every time you look.
As for Ginsberg, I will not speak ill of the dead. However, it is ironic & a bit of karma that she spoke negatively about the President (Trump), an action SCOTUS judges never do, and now Trump will end up nominating someone to replace her. Not too different from being fired.

This tweet is funny on so many different levels.
First, she’s driving on the wrong side of the car. Either she’s traveling in Britain and feels the need to update us From an international perspective or she reversed the video somehow
Second, she’s got one of the most annoying, whiniest voices I’ve ever heard.
Third, the inherent narcissism in thinking the world is just waiting on her take on the news such that she can’t wait until she gets home. (“And this just in from our roving reporter Karen.“)
Fourth, the calm analysis and sophisticated insight that she manifests, explaining why the world needs to hear her take immediately
there are others, but the point is made. I don’t have a tweet seat, but I have to believe that it just serves as an opportunity to act out for certain very needy individuals.................Luca

I heard an argument yesterday that the people who don't like Trump are empathetic and it is Trumps lack of empathy that contribute to their hate of him. Those two videos are examples of exactly how wrong that take is.

Hey Luca in future if u can (or edit now) simply delete the video when "QUOTE" or copy paste. It saves a lot of reading space between posts when scrolling the site.
