Who pays for that? The tax payers?
Also, California was admitted as a free-state. From a historical perspective, how do reparations make any sense?

Additionally, my ancestors (like many of you) came to this country AFTER the Civil War. My lineage did not participate in the crime, yet is expected to pay the punishment?
I've said it before, reparations should be lawsuits by descendants of slaves against companies or families that gained great wealth from slavery. That way the victim (the deceased slave, represented by his family) is looking for payment from the entity that gained from slavery.
Leave the rest of us alone.

Voters are against it 2:1??? 2:1?  It must be California. It should be 100:1, or 1000:1. I don't want to get that third job to transfer payments directly to anyone. The left, especially in California, live in LaLa land. |
